if it's anything like the area where I work, the warmer it gets the more action that is happening. I wouldn't even want to know about the crap that goes through the hosp.
If nothing else sounds like your nights must fly by though. You sure can't claim boredom. :)

well the craziness continued into my day yesterday at the jobsite. real busy day to begin with.
Then I see a young guy had a somewhat odd story as to what was going on so I kept an eye on him for a bit then decided to call ems. Turns out he got admitted for a cardiac work up, so I was glad we sent him. So as were getting him loaded up in the bus a guy comes in with a partial thumb amputation. The EMS guys were great they stuck around pitched in a bit and we got both guys out and both are doing well.
I may need to be treated for carpal tunnel syndrome after today since I have to write all this stuff up today :(

I sit at my desk all day and play flight simulator... Not the game but essentially I fly all day. Not everyday all day but I do a lot of the time.

I was going to PM you to let you know but only found out last minute that I'd be going down there.
The good news is that I'll be spending more time down there in upcoming months. :rockwoot:
Next time I get more than 48 hours of warning I'll let you know?

Criminals don't work in the cold or rain. Nor early in the morning.

Same here, lots of caribean people here, it drops below 50 they all go into hiding. Theyre starting ot gear up for the caribean day parade over labor day weekend, its good for 20-50 shootings and stabbings over that weekend.

aint that the truth. it is entertaining though to watch through the fence in summertime and watch them kick each other's doors in and start fighting until the cops show up.
we have a drug and prostitution house right across the street. Their always good for a cop showing every two weeks at least. One weekend the guy was sitting in his yard taking shots at the windows of our building here.

sounds like a hell of a celebration. I mean how can you call it a party if no one dies right?

I will be working sun and mon night of labor day so I will have a front row seat of the carnage. I gotta find an article I read the other day about a particular street not too far from the hospital with all the shootings and stuff.
