Not bad. Nothing terribly impressive...but they looked to be having a good time. The Zeppelin at the end was a nice touch.

Didn't know their singer could play like that.

that was my main reason to post it... i was like he plays drums! you think of Godsmack like all sounding the same... then all of a sudden the singer hops on a kit? pretty cool. I saw Danny Carey from Tool doing a drum battle, i almost died... he's amazing. :dthumb:

Really? Had no idea.

Yeah really. In concert sometimes. Back when Jason was still in the band. Jason would sing and James would play drums.

Wow. I would have liked to see that. Newsted is a solid bass player.

If you want to see a multi instrument talent check out John Ostrosky. He plays guitar, drums, and bass. And he plays them proficiently.

Oh yeah... they do the drum battle at every concert, and each time, they change it up a bit... rarely the same songs. It's amazing!!! (but then, I'm a Godsmack fan )

Wow. I would have liked to see that. Newsted is a solid bass player.

Garage days was his best work After that..... He was pretty much a silent partner. Live he was good though, but in the studio, they turned his volume way down...

For obvious reason it apparently irritated him as well among other things.

Me and my best friend took a road trip from Portland OR to Bosie ID in his car... (10hrs)

when we left we threw in Godsmack's Vodoo cd... after it playing through twice he turns to me and tells me to change the cd... so I ask... where did you put them... he's like... I thought you packed them... needless to say... the cd's were NOT packed... and we spent 10hrs listening to Godsmack... (no radio out there) on the way back 3 days later... we listened to it agian just for shits and giggles...

funny thing is... I can still listen to that cd with no issues... isn't burnt out like I thought I'd be... but could be the memories tied in with it... :idk:
