i think it's AWD too.......

tits! :boobs:

We were so enamored with the latest Ford Focus RS that we declared it "the very apex of hot hatches" and "a life-affirmingly brilliant machine" in our latest review. If that's how we felt about the stock RS, can you imagine what we'd say about a model with an extra 35 hp and 72 lb-ft of torque?

First, we'd probably say that the folks at Graham Goode Racing are a bit crazy for putting even more power into such a small car, but we know the Focus RS can handle it. Then we'd remark about the impressiveness of computer-controlled engine management and the fact that GGR was able to get 340 hp and 397 lb-ft of torque out of the Focus RS's 2.5L turbocharged inline-five engine with only a recalibration of the firmware and software found in the engine computer.

Using a Superchips Bluefin hand-held unit, an RS owner can quickly and easily dial in all that extra power without ever lifting a wrench, much less the hood. GGR says they've increased power from 2750 rpms all the way up to the engine's power peak at 5600 rpms. Torque, meanwhile, hits its apex at 3100 rpms and falls off gradually as rpms rise.

GGR's upgrade isn't some backyard tuner trick, either. It's covered by Superchip's 12-month/30,000-mile warranty and, if you live in England, can be had for a reasonable 435 pounds sterling ($720). Now, if only we could get one over here.

Wont come to the US market due to price considerations. Those in that market demographic would take the same money and buy a 370Z, Hyundai Gencoupe, WRX, or G37.

my Ford Focus (ok Mazda) put down 307/378ftlbs at the wheel. It's FWD only. It's front wheel spin only I should say.

I wonder if their dyno is wheel, hub, or flywheel.
