Unlikely. Could easily be construed as a potential weapon.

sounds like i might just have to check in my magnetic tank bag, they're gonna love it when it sticks to their conveyer line.........lol

I'd say "nope". I used to travel with tools all the time for work. Now the only thing I'm allowed to bring is a tape measure. You can put it in checked luggage, though.

try to notify the airline that you will be bringing small tools on board. and ask them what the proper procedure for that is. see what they say...maybe they can put a note on your boarding pass or you can give the bag to a flight attendant when you get on board.

yeah, i was hopping to get in and out of the airport ASAP. vs checkin in luggage and so on.

but if i do have to check in luggage, i guess i can put my carry knife in there as well......

but i am worried about the magnetic part.....

Dude, I can't even get through with my "space pen" without causing a scene.

I also don't recommend checking bags these days (I've got at least 3 bags floating around the ether after the past several years of frequent air travel). Can you fed-ex it to yourself somewhere?

Where you flying into?

funny you say that, before 9/11 i took this on a flight w/ no prob's.

wouldn't let on the return flight. only cuz it had serrations......

see, this is the stuff that makes me feel safe, really. Inconsistencies in our airport security.

For example:

I never ever ever take my Sony e-reader out of my bag, just my laptop. In the many many airports I have flown out of, it's never been a problem... until Jacksonville. THEY make me take that, plus my cell phone out of my bag. Um, yeah. Inconsistency.

Well you have ridden one before, right? Or at least sat on one? lol

Nice looking ride, but not only has he changed front & rear spring rates, but he added an aftermarket dogbone too. So you have no idea how it's gonna ride. What is the weight difference between him & you? I've bought a couple bikes from people who customized their suspension, and riding it home was a horrible experience......Complete pogo stick, lol.

+ a road trip across the SE part of the country, priceless..........lol

It's bad enough when someone 'customizes' the suspension for their weight. Finding out that someone tossed $2K+ at their suspension and ended up with something worse than stock.....

What was the 1" rise dogbone for? I mean, if he installed heavier springs for his weight, he shouldn't have had to raise it with a dogbone. Unless maybe he wanted quicker turn-in or something......But I would check a Busa forum to see if that's actually a common mod.

I would love to raise mine and inch in the rear.

i'll find out for ya, he's got all the receipts.

dude's done alot of lil things.....

Did I mention it has 1" mirror extenders for the color matched mirrors, 1" raising link in the rear, 45 tooth rear sprocket and a speed-o-healer? Adjusted via GPS for proper correction.

i think i l ike the rearset area to be black, but i like the blue, passenger footrest.

i'm so-so on the blue side fairings........

I never take it out of A. B and C are useless. They pulled timing and fuel, basically taking away all throttle response.
It stays in A, even in the rain with bald tires.(I have only had one incident)

I find the only time the throttle is too sensitive is when you are riding in 1st gear, and you are going over bumpy pavement.

Oh, then you're good to go (as long as you're not black). If you can chill until some 90year old white woman is coming up then you'll be able to walk through as 10 TSA screeners grope and violate her. No TSA screener is going to risk their job by searching a muslim unless there is a tick tock sound coming from their stomach.

Ship to a local fedex with Hold for pick up. Ship it to yourself cause they require ID for you to pick it up. I do it all the time for work cause the Auto plants would loose my tools and parts if I shiped direct to them.

Pick up the bike swing by fedex and pick up your bag then your good to go.

Particle Man

but price fed ex first - it may just be easier and cheaper to pick one up where you're going and e-bay it after.
