Just ordered tix for TSO through a fanclub website and still got gigged 36 dollars in fees for 3 tix. Its some racket these guys have with fees just for the sake of charging them.

they even hit you with the fees if you buy at the boxoffice so thye screw ya either way. So between this and the ridiculous cost of some concert tix its not worth going anymore.

Yup, its disgusting. I went online a couple of weeks ago to buy tickets to see Atmosphere and got the same charge. I didn't go to the concert because of it.

One concert this summer I got raped in charges. Thought it was worth it to impress a girl... didn't work so well :lol: The next one I got two lawn tickets for $20 as an "all in" promotion. Don't care about impressing the little brother.

That's why I love going to the Orbit Room here in GR. Cheap tickets plus if you go directly to the ticket booth at the venue, there are zero fees added to the ticket price. I hate ticket bastard and they will never get another penny from me ever, even if I have to miss a good concert.

I'm pretty much at that point myself. I can't remember the last time I bought a ticket from them. And LiveNation is about there...even though I have never bought from them...I have gone to do so several times and did not b/c of the fees.

The 130$ includes fees. Expensive, but they probably will never come back to eastern Canada, so I may as well see the show.

I saw Tool in Edmonton for 60 bucks. Had awesome seats too. That was the deal of a lifetime when it comes to concerts.

I paid 165 to see the stones at an outdoor concert (85k people, at 100+$/ticket), was worth every penny. There were 4 other bands though.

I wish NIN would do a huge NA tour..

I have found that the newer stuff and the fact that Sirius plays them WAAAAY too often makes me hate even the old stuff.

:lol: I hear ya on that. They've toured with some great bands lately, but never at the same time. LoG, Machine Head, Down. I wish it was one giant tour, that I'd probably pay for.

You just need to support your local music scene... We get very few big name bands here, but there are a lot of local shows that are still $5-$10 at the door, and some of them are pretty good.

I play our local music scene, and it sucks. There are very few places to play, really the only "local" venue charges an arm and a leg for 5 shitty local bands. And no one shows. Our scene here used to be really awesome. Now, kids won't come out unless there's a big band playing.
