ok my own little rant. I understand if you're new to having benefits and so have used up all your vacation on drinking days. I understand using up all your sick days thinking it was another word for vacation. what I don't understand is why you would come to work sounding like death warmed over and then feel the need to "visit" everyone's cube and spew in their face while saying "I'm not that sick".

Then they get offended when I tell them seriously I don't want your fucking cold. I told them I'll take a sick day tomorrow so they won't have to. They said but you're not sick. I know and I hope to keep it that way.

If you want to pretend to be so dedicated as to work while sick fine but stay in your own little area!!!!

we have two here, both female, who suddenly feel the need to visit everyone. Their area sounds like a terminal ward in a nursing home from all the hacking going on down there.

ok you get a pass, although I will say while I was in I never got a cold because of all the crap they shot us up with. I didn't get sick for two years after getting out. LOL

yeah, i want to smack people like that. I stay in my area when I have to come into work sick. I flat out tell people to get the hell away from me if they are sick. I catch colds and shit far too easy.

I wonfder how much paranoi there will be about flu shots this year. All the swine flu crap is already starting up here, I am dreading it this year.

Do they have the h1n1 I know theyre having a hard time getting it ready but figured the military and govt agencies will prolly get first dibbs on it and I bet our hospital will be giving them ou tto the staff again.

As far as sick days... I have unlimited paid sick days. And have never used one. And I have been here for over 11 yrs.

Nothing new, shot wont be out till late Oct/early Nov, etc. Same old stuff. Get vaccinated, wash hands.
