got my repair bill from mac yesterday...

new optic drive, hard drive and main logic board... top case and bottom case

the kicker is that they said because it was a field unit that they automaticly think it was damage from a drop cause the corners were chipped and had to replace the casing too

I'm actually the apple campus rep for missouri state. lol. Now I have my 2.5 year old white macbook, a free 13 inch pro and a free ipod touch. All still run like champs. Hope you can get everything done for a decent price without losing everything.
