I had it pretty warm. Just didn't really dig the flavour of it so thought maybe I was missing something. :idk:

straight sake needs to be near piping hot...but i've had some pineapple flavored sake that was served cold and it was unbelievable...i think i had like 2 or 3 bottles of it.

to answer the original question...yes i like it :D

Sake tastes like hot piss... the only reason it's better than actual piss is because it gets you drunk.

Last time I drank it I left the bottle 1/2 sitting in a pot of water set to a very slow boil. Then we did shots out of the almost boiling sake. Its the only way it tastes good, anything less than scolding hot and it goes to shit

There are many types of Sake and different ways it is served.
I'm all about hot sake, but lack the attention span to remember the types consumed.

Good shit if warm. Even better if used in a sake bomber (drop sake glass into a glass of Saporro or Kirin). FTW! Fuck the haters

Yeah, I'm with him. :dthumb:
Actually I had a good cold sake with sushi a few weeks ago, but also cannot remember the name.

Yep. It's like trying a can of Budweiser and swearing off all beers (understandable as it may be).

I think the idea behind a good sake is you can't remember the type the next day.

I happen to like it. From what I have seen, you either love it or you hate it, there's not may in-betweens

I like it. I've had good and bad sake; it's a great difference between the two in flavor and potency. I have to be in the right mood for it though - I usually get some if I'm at a teppanyaki style restaurant.

Troof.

The stuff they cook with is CRAP... the whole "mo sake, mo happay" quote came from a chef at a teppanyaki type place; we had a huge group there for a birthday dinner, and he was giving us all shots from the bottle of sake he cooked with. It was CRAP (and it was room temperature), but he kept feedin it to us. Then he'd yell "MO SAKE, MO HAPPAY!!!!" and take a shot himself.

Sake is not fit for human consumption....now, if you ever needed to strip rust off the hull of a battleship or something then it would be the shit. :lmao:

American beer isn't strong enough to rip rust off of anything.

Neither is sake, since it's probably half sugar.

All I was saying was, American beer could be described as not fit for human consumption.
