labor day weekend in the ghetto

This should be interesting. usualy at this time I am at the cross keys on my 8th or 9th beer, but sadly I am working this weekend. Been here bareley an hr and people are bitching and moaning about some stupid stuff already.

this area is like a warzone this weekend withthe caribean day parade so it shoudl be quite busy. Riding in here was interesting too there are people just wandering the streets and a few already large gatherings on a few blocks so its only a matter of time before the shooting starts.

I remember when I moved pool tables how I always had to work on Labor day. What pissed me off the most is every customer I had that day would say "So they have you working Labor Day? That sucks". Gee i fucking wonder why I'm working today you asshole.

I worked as glorified customer service in a 24 hour call center for a brokerage firm and would hear shit like that all the time. Comments like that always made me want to respond with, "yep, I have to work becuase people like you can't go a day without looking at their account." Of course, I had to kiss their ass and keep my comments to myself.
