With that last scene they def arent going soft, but some other shows like rescue me have pushed the envelope prety far so I am glad to see them doing it and now I cant wait to see what sort of retribution/war will ensue with the ayrians now.
I think its a great new storyline to go along with some of what was left from last season.

true I liked the first season but then it got a little wacky and that rape scene I thought was a bit much. Even just the language has gotten more graphic. I did like in last years episode when they cut that guys balls off for raping the little girl that was prety crazy.

yeah but going after gemma is going to open up a crazy fucking storyline. they could have either shot her or raped her. the way they did it was setting something awesome up. i cant wait for the future of this show

I agree and seeing the tattoo on the guys chest/neck will help them kind of ID who it is even though its obvious who it was, but that should be the main story line once the club finds out. I can see this being a huge war with the ayrians.

He may now since the other white separatists dont care for him either, I am sure one side or the other will take him out in the middle of all this, or he will be made a scapegoat and killed just for the hell of it.

I was figuring that would be the main story line this year, I am sure they will have clashes over how to deal with stuff and wonder if that will cause the club to crumble in the end.

They're going to have to squash that shit for a while....more important things to deal with. Raping Gemma?......that's a paddlin'.

Yeah it was awsome but you know Gemma is not going to say anything about the rape. She know that is what they want and I'd bet she won't give it to him. I bet she goes after them herself. Hell has no fury like a woman scorned!
It's going to be a good season!

The scenes from the next episode made it look like she tried to hide it but Clay found out anyway....we'll see.
I sense a war coming...

Just kidding haven't seen any of those but may have to check 'em out. I don't watch much tv but now and then something looks interesting enough to sit still for a bit.

reminds me too much of that damn GTA4 biker club game. That game really really pissed me off with how annoying it was, this show just reminds me of that game.

on the premeir there were boobs with pasties....
Unfortunately due to my husband I have met many of the types of people portrayed in SOA. That a doctor would date one, or they could do anything remotely as intelligent as they do on the show is so laughable I can't watch even the previews without giggling. My husband likes the show though - I guess it's wishful thinking?

yeah I am fine with that part of the show.
I do like hell's kitchen because Gordon Ramsey is awesome. F Word is better, because he put pigs on a beer diet solely to eat them.

I didn't watch this show last year so I recorded the epesodes recently playing catch up.
I'm hooked and have 3 more to watch from last year and then I'll watch this season's premier.
I hated when the Soprano's went away...SOA has replaced it for me.

the only problem i have with the show is that they are against meth and dont go after regular people. now ideally that is what MC's would do but for reality's sake they should be all tweaked out acting like damn fools

Yep...one of my sisters used to date (or whatever you want to call it) a guy that was way up the food chain in a nationally known MC (he's now in the pen...go figure) and I met a few of them and hung out with some of them once in a while...but not for long thankfully. They reminded me of the Sopranos but white trash style so this show is what it reminds me of.
I like the show but I hated the fact that my sister got tied up with this group. She's away from it now...hopfully it stays that way. No I wasn't proud but it was her life. :idk: I have two sisters...one is normal.
I just can't get into the douchebagism that is biker clubs to enjoy the show.
yup. Anyone who thinks this is a good show that accurately depicts the biker gang lifestyle, is oblivious to the workings of a real motorcycle club.
It is an entertaining, gritty view of gangs that dont exist.
The HA, Outlaws, Warlocks, Bandidos, etc, etc, run nothing like these shows.
I'd like to see the so called Sons of Anarchy take a ride up to montreal and try to roll against HA back when 'Mom' Boucher was running the show :lol
Bike gangs are scum of the earth. The brotherhood that once united them dissapeared thirty years ago, now they are violent criminal organizations that rule through fear.
TV cant acurately depict what they really do.
Still, its a very entertaining show.

That gangland show had some good documentaries on the biker gangs and I think they had a show on the HA from montreal, that boucher guy kinda looked like a maffia type guy more than biker if its the same guy.
There was also a good show about a cop who infiltrated the mongols and brought a bunch of them down.

I find it entertaining. but yeah these guys are a little too smart, and a little to good looking. Hell give Jax a shave and a haircut and he could be at a country club tomorrow.
Besides if it were more 'true to life' who the hell would want to watch it? there would be no entertainment because most of what they do would make the average person sick to their stomach
Still, its a very entertaining show.
Agreed.
It just seems some people have this 'American hero, riding free' outlook on the lifestyle, that they get from these shows.
The most accurate series i've seen on biker life is 'The last Chapter', with Michael Ironside and Roy Dupuis. It was a Canadian 3 part series based on Canadian biker life, and loosely based on some events in the montreal biker wars. Excellent series.

I read the book on the McQueen/Mongols infiltration, I actually have it here. And saw the show you talked about. Great stuff. Theres a whole series on different gangs.
and, Maurice 'Mom' Boucher, one of the most violent, ambitious, and evil men ever to walk Canadian soil.

That DEA agent that became a full patch Mongol member is fucking insane! Good story though.
Before I met my wife I was with the same girl for like 4 years, raised her son, lived together, all that stuff. Well her ex-husband hated me and happened to be the son of the local chapter president of the Bandidos.
I carried a gun with me everywhere I went for obvious reasons. I got some threats, but nothing ever happened.

Yup! When I pointed out how unrealistic it is - it was pointed out to me that BG and Lost aren't terribly realistic either! Besides I'm not sure any actor can dumb themselves down that far for it to be realistic. :lmao:

The show made it look like he was almost going to become one of them full time he so bought into the lifestyle. Problem is it destroys their personal life because of the time commitments involved. I think his wife left him and took the kids and I think similar things happened with the guy who was donnie brasco.

Ya, I read that his family life went to shit, and his kids still arent too thrilled about what he put them through, and he doesnt have a relationship with. But as deep in as he got, he never actually did anything totally illegal. He was a good cop in a bad situation.
Joe Pistone on the other hand, did a lot of fucked up shit that he shouldn't have, that was never portrayed in the movie. The guys personal life didnt go to shit because of his job, but because of things he shouldnt have done while doing his job.

The guys I met through my sister were all higher ranking guys for this part of the country fortunately so none of the other guys gave me any crap...don't get me wrong though...I didn't give them reason to. I used to go into one of the bars they owned and they would have prospects mixing me drinks and having me grade them and if it wasn't right they'd give them chit. That was all in fun but it was a trip to say the least.
I rode with a small group of them to Myrtle Beach one year...never again though. :wtfru: They were NOT wearing their colors on this ride.
When I had a bad accident they offered to do a benefit run for me but I politely declined...since I work in a white collar world and didn't want the connection made. :lol
