Anybody have any experience with one of these:

Clicky! (http://www.goprocamera.com/)

It's a good price, and looks like a good camera, plus it's water-proof, I could take it spearfishing.

Trip uses one that's better IMO... that thing looks like it'd get really fucked up in a wreck... and any wind would really effect the quality of movies... AND... you'd feel it in your helmet... :idk:

I want a completely self contained unit, I don't want one that connects to a separate recorder.

Um, yeah, about that. Go Pro, less than $200, that thing (thou fucking sweet it is) $699!!!! For the extra $500 I can buy tires and do a trackday. And still have a self-contained helmet-cam!

Sorry bro, I'm a broke-ass college student working two jobs, I'll stick with the less expensive one! (Although if I had the money I would get the nicer one)

Very Pimp. I'll have to steal one when you're not looking so you can get some REAL footage of a fast lap. :zowned:

I see a ton of people with those at the track. They're easy and produce decent video, but the sound is muffled and crappy, has no zoom and is bulky. But it's rugged and cheap enough that if you crash you won't cry.

vid with a Gopro HD:

I run an Aiptek camcorder with a Helmetcamera lipstick cam velcro'd to my helmet. It works well and is compact, but the mic picks up a ton of wind noise and the input jack on the camcorders tend to go out.

What my rig looks like (hard to see in the pic: camcorder is in the fanny pack and the can is on the rear faring pointing back)

I've used mine and it's okay, don't forget that Go Pro now has a HD model that comes with all of the accessories to use it any way you want. Cycloe Sector was doing them for $229 shipped.
