I'm sorry, but you cannot subtract apples from oranges and expect to come out with only apples. FAIL. LOL
Personally, I think the conclusions they are drawing are far-fetched.
The problem is keeping them interested in it beyond the toys. Toys like this that get in fashion do help kids, but the fad dies away and if the teachers don't recognize this interest and see the benefit and ban kids from the cards or the fad dies before teachers can use it, then the shit falls to pieces.

Some kids are just smart, expose them to anything and theyll be able to make something out of it.

Agreed. The most I did with pokemon cards was stare at the shiny pictures. :bonk:
I really wish I sold those damn things when they were worth something..
