View Full Version : Build a bike
I don't care if it's realistic or not.
Example:
VFR800FI motor (98-2001)
Ducati monster trellis frame
Ducati SSS w/ marchesini wheels.
R1 forks/6piston radials
Older ZX-11 Left exit muzzy
New Aprilia Mille body work
......
your go.
aprilia v4
vyrus frame + forkless suspension
marchesini wheels.
full fairings
GP style shorty exhaust
I forgot about the vyrus.
I was thinking GTS front end initially...but figured it would be too bulky and heavy to sport around on.

Ducati monster trellis frame
06-08 GSXR 750 powertrain
single sided exhaust
plain, simple, naked and effective for scratching on my back roads
I forgot about the vyrus.

Warning huge:

looks like the alto racing guys are upgrading their race vyrus for next year with a 1098 lump. too bad noone televises thundersprint
WHOA!
Did Ecosse make the heritic? If so, I think that's what I'd want my bike to look like. Take that fairing part off my orig post. Something confederate hellcattish. Maybe a little Munch mammut thrown in.

looks like they did though my first thought about it is ducharley monster. :wtfru:
for mine you can interchange the regular ape v4 with the ape/cosworth reverse rotating triple from the rs3 cube. always wanted to try out that stabilising effect that the reversed crank is supposed to offer at high rpms.

blacked out nsr 500 done.
or my kawi with black rearsets ohlins front end and a turbo
sportbike with a modern 600 engine and tech
but the styling of the late 90s, big tail, fat around the middle
comfortable for long hauls
somewhat competant off road, along the line of the Ulyssys
single sided swing arm with shaft drive
Hard bags on the sides
Sorta like ulyssys mixed with a connie14, but better looking than either of them

Older ZX-11 Left exit muzzy
.
I assume you mean for the sound, right, not the looks? Because Muzzys looked like skinny twigs wrapped in cheap pot-metal. Not to mention the can was usually bent downwards where it met the midpipe, making it even uglier.

big difference between nr and nsr. Nsr is a 2 stroke v4, nr is a 4 stroke, oval pistoned 32 valved monster. Edit: i got my suspensions messed up. You were right the elf bike was nsr

why not desmo heads?
Doesn't matter really, fitting either one to a push-rod motor would be.......difficult.
