You know the drill.. Should be picking this guy up this weekend or next. And I can't think of a good name for him.

Any ideas?

Cool dog. I'm not good naming animals as my dog has a pretty basic name.
Here is a pic I took of my dog "Buddy" last night.

These are all good, but right.

My current one is named Rosco p: coltrane.

I'm trying to think of something complimentary to that, or boxer cliched. Something like an original boxer ring name..

Sugar Ray
Tyson
Holyfield
Rocky

If you're going the tv character rout you could call him Cleetus,

You could always call him something that would make it "interesting" to walk through the neighborhood calling him, should he ever get loose.

Good choices include "Big Pussy" and ""Free Beer".

Unfortunately "Boom Boom" has obvious house training connotations, where a new puppy is concerned.

I guess "Wizzer" is out of the question then.

A buddies inlaws named their dog nipper because it would nip at people.
One day it got out, so they ran after it calling for it, only to have thier chinese neighbours stare at them.

I'm thinking Paddy or Murphy. We can call him Murph for short. But, since I'm Irish, Paddy seems to fit.

It was hard enough finding a name we could agree on for my pup.. I'm not up for thinking of names again. Paddy, Baxter and Panzer are cool names though.
