I pay a bit over that, but have unlimited internet and unlimited nhl network on top of it.

My sister had them and switched to Verizon because T Mobile's coverage was so bad.

I pay approx. $125/mo for two phone lines including taxes and fees. I don't go over on minutes.

There is no benefit to this plan in my situation.

Metro PCS offers unlimited talk/text/g3 for $29/mo. in my area.

My coworker does that and pays roughly $70 a month with Metro PCS for him and his girlfriend.

Unfortunately Metro's service sucks and I travel too much so I have Verizon. AT&T, Metro, T-mobile, etc barely or won't pick up at my house so I'm stuck with Verizon.

Sticking with Verizon, the new 5.0 OS on my storm is actually very nice. This is how the phone should of been on launch.

I'm about to do the same thing.

Do you have a home ISP too or just use the broadband card?

Verizon is king there but I beleive it's still expensive.

Saw Comcast has a "Metro" 4g service and when out of their metro areas it switches to Sprint's nationwide (though i think that's basically just Metro too). I saw a special for the 4g at $30 a month

I got Verizon, 3 lines, 700 minutes and unlimited texting unlimited m to m, no "my circle" bullshit for $100/mo after my corporate discount. Probably not the cheapest provider but it has the best coverage in MI.

Yea I know that it's not great for everyone... did I mention that there is NO CONTRACT?!?!? No? Where I live, their coverage is very good and getting better. T-mobile is an up and coming company who's coverage has vastly improved in just the year I've been with them. Heck, they are using AT&T for secondary right now and are working on a deal with a local company for "roaming" towers.

It's all relative to where you live and what you do. I've never gone over my minutes either but that's mostly because I watch them like a hawk!!! Now I won't need to! That's the difference. Also, if you get unlimited, you can kill any home phone service that you may have...shit, for $10 T-mobile will hook you up with a VOIP type home phone with unlimited minutes, long distance, etc.

BTW I'm aware of these small companies like Boost, Cricket, Metro, etc that offer unlimited plans for $30 or whatever but from what I've seen, the coverage is terrible and the phones are either expensive or LAME! Like I said, to each their own but I'm liking T-Mobile.:idk:

I have Sprint's "Rev A" broadband, using a Novatel laptop card........ and it's slow.....A CNN video will take 30-60 seconds before it even starts running.

I hear you! I want a card too but from what I've seen it's waaaaaayyyyy sssslllloooowwwwww..... Fuck it, I have Hot Zones or I'll stop at Starbucks, Barnes and Nobles, Burger King, etc if I just HAVE to get on the net. Besides, most plans cost more than cable high speed...how bad DO I have to get on the internet? If they ever get fast enough, I might get one but I'll always have to have high speed at home, I have 4 laptops here, a PS3, PSP, 2 WiFi phones, etc...

Oh sorry, I didn't get it because I moved all of my data to my phone (about 300 songs and almost 200 pics) to install a 16G memory card which left my inbox short of space and full of gf texts from this morning. Send it again poopsie!

What phone is this? Why doesn't it have 3G?

And if I had an unlimited plan, then how many minutes I was online wouldn't matter, right?

True and T-Mobile doesn't have 3G here yet...in their defense, neither does anyone else except Verizon in very limited terms.

Im getting the Moto Droid as soon as its available. The Droid Eris sis supposed to be coming out at the same time. Theres also The HTC Hero thats supposed to be coming to VZW too.

From what Ive heard the new T-Mobile plan is a way to compete wth AT&T. AT&T subsidizes a big chunk of the price of an iPhone but has an expensive data plan. T-Mobile cant compete with the subsidy but they can offer a better plan.

Verizon also has some BIG plans in the works...as In...They bought the analog signal that was used for the Old TV's with antennas and apparently there trying to use it as a Super mega cell tower...I.E. you would get service virtually anywhere you would get T.V. Reception...which means...ALOT more than where it stands now.

Just a rumor I heard from an inside source I have...

I'll believe it when I see it.............With Sprint I swear I probably only get an average of 400-500k per second, tops.

I'm sure that other companies will come in with an even better plan soon... oh well, I don't have a contract so I don't give a fuck yo!!! Actually, that's my favorite feature of this plan... no contract. Tell me you'll get that from Verizon. The other cool thing about T-mobile is that you don't HAVE to buy a data plan just because you got a smart phone unless it's a Black Berry (I think)... I wanted an HTC Touch when I was with Altel but they were forcing me to go into an expensive data plan and they didn't have 3G at the time! They might have it because of the Verizon takeover,,,,:idk: Regardless, I'm not buying a smart phone/data plan until I get at least 3G, otherwise it's pointless imho!

Shit I pay $130 a month. That is me, the wife. 1500 anytime mins, unlimited any mobile anytime (read: any mobil phone = unlimited), unlimited EVERYTHING ELSE!

So basically the only time its not unlimited is when I call a land line.

Then I put my mom and bro on it for $20 each. But they give me $40. So really it cost me $90 a month for unlimited everything for 2 phones.

3G with some 4G coming. F'it... works nearly everywhere I ever go. Even in mexico!

Correct, with Verizon anyway. You can text and use the phone as a modem, but as soon as you answer a call, the internet connection goes away. As soon as you hang up, right back where you started.
