Homeowner Kills Man Trying To Break In
Witnesses: Rodrick Dow Acted Irrational Outside Home

HOUSTON -- A homeowner fatally stabbed a man who tried to force his way into his home, police told KPRC Local 2.

Houston police said witnesses told them Rodrick Dow, 48, was screaming and acting irrationally in front of a home in the 8500 block of Curry Road at about 1:20 a.m. Friday.

Dow tried to force his way into the home through a locked screen door, investigators said.

The homeowner, 75, was in fear for his life and stabbed Dow, officials said.

Dow died at a local hospital.

The case will be referred to a Harris County grand jury.

This is rediculous. What's a homeowner doing with a knife All knives should be banned.

I hope it was a gut stab. I like the idea of knowing that SOB spent the last hour or 2 of his life in agonizing pain and hopefully thinking to himself "You know. I wish I kept my job on the fryolater at McDonalds instead of this"

But 75 and still killin. Get that man a bottle of Viagra and a night at a strip club.

Laugh all you want but check out the laws in Australia, which is supposed to be as much a "frontier country" as the US.
