Honda: CBR 600 RR
Vehicle Description

This is a track bike only, came from HRC Honda factory with bill of sale only, Race wireing, has no lighting wires, for track use only. Bike has been sitting in garage for a year and a half, has been ridden around the neighborhood once or twice a month to keep the battery up. Has small ding in upper side faring where kids knocked it off the kick stand in the garage. Other than that probably has less than 500 miles on it. Has Michelin Power Race tires, Showa Quick Adjust suspension, lap counter, race ECU, Race radiator, Factory race exhaust, Pit road limiter, and geared for the track. This is a bill of sale bike only. Street bikes come from the factory with MCO's Race bikes don't!!!

dunno i had heard about specific race bikes

They were available for purchase through HRC.

It was meant to be a foundation for a basic race bike.

It's basically a stripped down RR with Showa race suspension, HRC radiator and ecu and a few other goodies.

They came with rear seats, I don't recall if they had mirrors or not, they did not have any lighting.

kinda like the XZ-6RR

those look like stock rearsets, and showa racing suspension? Isnt that what comes stock on most bikes. All the race bikes are running ohlins or penske stuff.

Def sounds a bit fishy.

amatuer racers use ohlins/penske team honda uses showa, not your run of the mill stuff i'm sure

from 600Rr.net

"This is a 'basic' racer and yes it comes with many stock OEM items. Such as kickstand, OEM seat, OEM tail (with a whole for the passenger seat) OEM street fairings (although not painted), etc...

But it also comes with other not OEM/Stock, such as Showa forks and shock, set up for the HRC data aquisition system, (I believe) the damper is adjustable, has some different internals if I remember correctly, so HP and powerband should be different (better)."

Showa does make some good shit, better than the stock stuff they put on bikes.

A race bike would come with race plastics, and no headlights or taillight.

I am not sure about Honda's, but Ducatis race bikes do not even have VINs stamped into the steering head.

I would bet stolen.

this one doesn't have a lighting wiring harness let alone headlights or tailights nor ign. key

it does have a VIN

i think it's legit, it's a basic racer, not a full on one. and 600rr.net has confiremed there are such bikes out there.

I can remove all that in a few hrs myself too. I still think its BS I would want more proof than what was said on a message board.

I would want a pic of the steering head with todays date beside it, so I can have the VIN run by the PD

Please tell me why Honda would waste a set of street fairings on a buyer who wouldn't want them.

Feedback = 3, with 1 of them being neutral.......lol

And I like the "geared for the track"...........Which track? A real racer gears his bike for a specific track.
