This has been one of the slowest days EVAR, I do thank you guys here for making the day go by a lil quicker. I am here till 5:30 and am in the ER at 11 tonight, whats bad is I have 2 sucky attendings to work with so it will prolly be a brutally painful shift.

Well despite good weather here, I've been too busy to get any riding in today except for a quick 10 mile stint earlier, this should have been a 100-150 mile day

good call, all those Er shows dont depict all this sort of stuff that walks in, its either the bad traumas, th egood saves or the ones with real bizzare or off the wall diagnosises.

they dont show these or the smelly homeless guys that are always crowding up the waiting room.

Almost to the halfway point. Not a lot of patients but they are making it seem that way with not much getting done.

last call 10 minutes ago. hope alls quiet out there. the biggest night club closest to here is prety much closed after a shooting there 2 weeks ago. NYPD set up a command center on the corner so no ones going there.

Almost got things kind of under control, which is sad since its not busy its just taking forever to get things done

I guess Iwill take that, bad stuff is going on if I am getting shot at but am in the right neighborhood for it.

Funny thing is its not even crazy or busy but this has been such a mentaly draining night here with who I have to work with here.

At least tonight its back to the good staff so even if its busy we get stuff odne and have a good time doing so. :rockwoot:

Just got home. The puppy pooped in his crate last night. It reaked in here.
Gf is on her way home with a coffee at least, and I did ride home, so its not all bad. Aside from cleaning puppy blankets, a crate, and giving him a bath before my coffee, its a good morning.

So far so good here the ride home was uneventful and all the city hwy cops had people pulle dover on the other side of the road.

One jappy lady at the deli caught m wrath though. I stopped to get egg sammiches for breakfast and was at the counter coordinating everything and she was annoyed that I didnt move my helmet. She said she was going to remove it from the counter and I told her if sh edoes I will remove her head from her neck. Made for an uneasy moment but freaked her out since her kids were with her. I may need to ride th ebuell now because god knows I will get pulled over on my priller :lol:

I was flipping thru the channels and one had some homeless guy who came in the emergency room with what was an infected leg covered in maggots.

They cleaned his leg and somehow the maggots ate all the nasty shit and his leg looked really good. :willy:

He asked about taking a shower and shave, which he did then. They rounded up some clean clothes for him and nobody recongized him when he came out :lol:

It's like the bums around here asking for a cigarette. It'd be cool if it happened once a week, but I'm not going to give a cigarette to every bum that walks up and go through an extra pack or two a week.
