I'll be logging some mad OT this week/weekend.
I'm covering our shift for Thursday and Friday (holiday overtime) and this is also my work weekend so that's 8 hrs regular OT.

It'd be really great if taxes didn't whittle it down so much.

I want both  we have a prety good vacation packahe plus I have figured out ways to manipulate it to my favor. We get 10 holiday days a year if you work either the day, th eentire week it falls on or just dont request it off so I usualy get most of those days so thats an extra 2 plus weeks of vacation time :rockwoot:

I got an easy 6-7 hours extra last night. I drove to MI for some punches and drove home. Nice 7 hour drive for a <5 minute pick-up.

They needed these for a job they were going to run last night... come in this morning, they STILL haven't run that job.

Oh and on top of that, the lady told me when I picked up that they were ready on Friday and could have been UPS'd. Oh well, OT for me!

Job didn't go in until noon-1pm today... Go figure.

I can leave early tomorrow now whenever I want but will stay most of the day just to rack up the OT and not waste it.

Tomwho you kidding, you haven't taken a vacation in the 4 years i've been coming around these forums...if that were the case you should have like 8 months of vacation. which will bring me to my next point. if you have so much vacation, why i gotta go trudging through swamps for you? get your ass down here and we'll go it together. remember, you don't have to be able to outrun the bear or panther...just the person you're with, and i'll make sure of that :D

Now my problem is getting paid for said overtime. I am still waiting on a 8 hrs from sept and it didnt come in todays check so of course a nasty e-mail went out. told them I better not have to wait 2 months to get paid for the hrs I did the last 2 weeks.

I have 111 sick days and would hate to have a case of the 100 day flu

One nice thing of working on commission at your own house. I set my own schedule.

ditto.

And when I get back, I start an hourly job, but I don't get paid overtime. I'm am only "allowed" to work 40. Supposed to get comp time for additional hours, we'll see how that goes.
