I got rid of my trusty Yamaha for a BMW and a MZ (no longer made, good friggin luck finding PARTS ya bastard) so I'm somewhat in the same boat.
All is great till time for service or a part breaks and then we're screwed!

Nice.
The B4 is still japanese.
But even without that, between 2 eye-talian bikes, I figure on at least one of them running at least 50% of the time. Just hope the times they don't are during winter. :D

always loved the Tuono... at one point it was on my short list for bikes... may eventually get one.

Wish I could buy it, but I can't at this time :td: Tried to put my father in law on it but he's wanting a cruiser instead.

Nice bike. What is an "air" mod? K&N filter? Ram air?

Don't worry about aprilia reliability. I have 20k on my 05 Tuono and it's running strong.

the tuonos dont realy have the electrical gremlins that the other bikes do, do they?
The motor on my futura is rock solid but the electrical/charging system has caused most of my downtime.

No real electrical gremlins other than the battery. I put 15k on my stock battery, but I was riding everyday. If the bike sat for any more than a week I put it on the battery tender. Another piece of good advice I got was to ensure the kill switch is on the off position when parked, if it's in the run position it will allow a small charge to be pulled and eventually kill the battery.
