The Salahis are aspiring reality-TV stars who hoped to land roles in the forthcoming show, "The Real Housewives of D.C.," by the Bravo cable network, The Washington Post reported.

In a statement Thursday, Bravo said, "Michaele Salahi is under consideration as a cast member, as such [series producer] Half Yard Productions were filming the Salahis on that day. Half Yard was only aware that per the Salahis they had been invited [to Obama's state dinner] as guests."

The incident represents a security breach for the White House at the Obama administration's biggest social event to date. More than 300 guests, including Cabinet members, diplomats and Hollywood celebrities, attended the dinner in honor of visiting Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

While they said they were invited they actually were not. They were able to get in the the event without having been invited.

At first I thought it was kinda funny they snuck in to the event, but then saw theyre trying to be part of a reality tv show and wish the secret service shot them instead :lol:

Some reality TV is good, but most of it's crap. At first glance all of it is kinda entertaining, but then when you realize that in many cases the people are being 100% geniune... that's when they lose me. I've met enough ridiculously retarded people in my life... I don't need to watch more.

I will say this though... Ultimate Fighter... Love it. Tool Academy... lol... It's a guilty pleasure. That's it though.

In this specific situation, I think The Salahis are dumb-a$$es. I believe I heard on the news, if they lied to get into the function, it's a federal offense. I hope they get charged.
