The $30 is in addition to your voice package right now. If you go with a package it's $79.99 for 450 mins and unlimited data..... Its really a good idea. I postwhore at my bar job sometimes and I get my e-mails right to my handset so if I get something with school, i have immediate access. The other thing i like is I can pull up and look at word docs too.... The 15% discount if you went with the $79.99 package is with the total 79. If you have the seperate packages it's only on your voice package not overall... That is only voice and umlimited e-mail/internet.... This doesn't include text messaging.

Do you have a data package on your plan then????? Cause to use that e-mail feature now, you still will accure what they call "data" charges. Unless you are with an old grandfather plan.... As of today verizon has seperated the usage to voice for voice calling. Text is text and anything besides those two are considered data and will accure data charges. There are still ways around it with the old plans if you have mobile e-mail on there. But mobile e-mail costs $5 a month. So you might be recieving charges and not even know it....
