I was hope'n he'd get another chance and turn it around before he left... but as the deal had to be done prior to Jan 2011 (or FSU owed the coach in waiting 5mil) it just wasn't gonna happen.

it's time for change at FSUtotally agree, that is why they should get rid of Jimbo Fisher too. Bobby was just a pawn, Jimbo was calling all the plays. So its not so much Bobby's fault. I just think that he is tired of taking the fall for Jimbo.

I knew it was coming. It's a sad day for sure but he has been in fail mode for the last 5-6 years. Hopefully Jimbo can bring them back to the powerhouse they used to be during the 14 year steak of top 5 finishes.

Yep it's time for him to go but a little sad. Getting old sux and no one wants to admit that they don't still have it.

His kicking game or lack of....definitely kept him from winning a few championships for sure. :lol: FSU had quite a run in years past.

They have also had very good kickers too... Janikowski and Beithia. FSU is known for wide right against Miami several times.... and a few wide lefts, but for the most part the kickers have been good.

I agree but the fact remains that they LOST several big ones due to a missed kick.
