I like my 25 and 50 foot chords a little better, and i do have a bunch of those, just not 150 feet worth

I am with Fred. I hate battery powered tools, the batteries die off after a while(even if they are regularily charged), and the performance drops off with it.
Don't even get me started on batteries that aren't charged.

Ever hear of Lithium Ion sunshine? Seriously, most of the time I only use a power tool for about 15 minutes max around the house. You can spend that amount of time fucking around with cords.

I also have Panasonic 15.6 tools that work really, really well but for the most part, I'd have to agree with you.

Good deal. I don't have any use for a sawzall, but I alreayd have the rest in either a corded or cordless version. Oh an Porter Cable FTW. With the exception of my DeWalt compound miter saw, ALL of my other tools are Porter Cable. I do need an 18ga brad nailer though, my 16ga is to heavy for shoe molding. Know of any good deals on those?

I still don't understand why they bother including flashlights in those kits - they are a joke. They usually suck for illumination. Every other flashlight in my house is brighter than the POS ones that were included with the 2 kits I've bought in the past.

how well does that sawsall work dude? I've been looking for a good battery powered one for some time. I use a hand saw to clear branches out of the way in the woods on our property to make sled trails and a battery powered sawsall that I can throw on the sled would make things much easier

am with ya on that. been using my craftsman 19.2 volt tools for the shed I am building and they are working fine and its nice not having to deal with the extension cords.

I have had the set for almost a year (was a christmas gift) and the tools are holding up fine esp the drill since I use that by far the most. I had one battery crap out on me, but got 2 more from searsand paid prety much nothing since they were on sale and snagged a 50 dollar gift card from my citibank points :rockwoot:

Tigger - don't you live in an apartment? Why would you need a circular saw and sawzall anyway?

The flashlight witht he craftsman one isnt too bad it wont light up the whole yard but had been good for my smaller projects.

prtclmn the craftsman sawzall seems to work rather well, only used it twice so far but i think would be good for taing down small branches and the like.

thats too messy, need a large barrel of potasium hydroxide in a high concentration will eat away a lot of the body but more importantly the strong base denatures the dna so it makes identification difficult

Because for only $3 manufacturing cost, they can add another bullet point to the feature list of this kit.

how's the battery life?

battery is good for light jobs, if it's going to be a long project I will rather have the cord.

Tigger, you are very lucky I am not taking this opportunity to knock you with some stereotypical lazy jokes. If it takes you 15 mins to fuck with cords, you aren't doing something right. I don't use those roll up things and I never have to deal with knots and it takes under 2 mins to unroll/roll.

Seems prety good, I was in the habit of charging them once a month when not using them. I had been using one battery on the shed and so far only had to charge it once and the drill was getting a lot of usage and a litlte with the circular saw and sawzall.

The 24V Rigid is killer! It works just as well as any corded saws all I've ever used. The little one is basically a straight jig saw. Good for drywall work but that's about it.
