Well, I installed my new rotors, brake pads, air valve, seals and tire on the front of my bike. I also installed some rim tape, cut the tail, installed frame sliders, blacked out the windshield, removed the passenger pegs, installed exhaust hanger, installed swing arm spools, and installed radar bracket on my GF's bike.

Nice, looks great. Amazing what a difference a couple minor tweaks can make toward cleanin up the look of the bike. :dthumb:

Yeh, it was too chilly to fully test the new rotors with the new Carbon Lorraine SBK pads but I'm expecting good things!:rockwoot:

Yea, I talked her out of pink rims and she settled for the pink rim tape. I'll probably make the pink stop at the graphics since I'm the one doing all the work...:lol::lol:

Have you used these before?

I usually run Carbone Lorraine on the race bike and have not found a better pad. Good things is an understatement.

I can't see you pic, but sounds like a solid days work. I officially put mine away yesterday. Took her for a short ride, it was about 33* outside, changed oil, added stabilizer, and gave her a bath.

I've done most of that in the past and out of all of it the one thing I had most trouble with for some reason is the freakin' rim tape...looked like crap so I peeled it off and will attempt it again later. :lol: I didn't use an applicator and attempted it with the wheels on the bike but for whatever reason it just didn't come out right. It looks like the tape you used was a bit wider than what I used...maybe that will make a difference when I attempt it again.

Oh it was a fucking pain, bro!!! Plus as it got cooler, the tape got harder to put on. I did an okay job for doing it by hand with the wheels on the bike. I may redo it some other time in the Summer. Now, I'm off to install the exhaust!

That's not a bad idea! Someone mentioned shorties but that's out of the question. Newish rider. I have 3 sets of stock levers that should fit this bike so I may get a set powder coated pink to make her happy. Heck, I may just paint them and see how it looks. $2 and 15 minutes...

With my big fat man hands I can easily get 3 fingers on the shorties. She could probly get all 4.
