On Tues & Wed, Dec.8th and 9th, every Papa John's Pizza in the ENTIRE US (not just Northwest) will donate 100% of all profits to the four families of the slain Lakewood, Washington Police Officers.

Outstanding.

From what I hear of them, I like their business practices. I wish we had one nearby that I could support.

That's awesome. We have one not too far from the house so I may have to hit them up tomorrow night.

You probably soon will. Tracy's friend and her Husband are opening many of them around the Maritimes. There's 2 here in Moncton, one opening in Saint John plus more that I probably dont know about and even more to come.

Yeah, I work at Papa John's, it's not that great. They treat their employees like crap, especially the managers. We have the best pizza out of the big chains but they're not great to work for.

There was only one nearby and that was in Oswego, NY where I went to college.

Many a pizza from that place was consumed with beer

this hits close to home for me - I spent most of the day watching the procession and memorial. And sobbing. I ordered pizza tonight. an hour ago. And in an hour I will go pick it up. I should have just written a check to the donation fund. But it's good that they're participating.
And - if you don't like their pizza or you don't live near one - choose one at random, call it, order pizza, have it delieverd to a homeless or women's shelter. Double good deed.

Anyone know where a press release is for this?

I found one only for the Seattle area. I would like to spread the word, but would rather not be made a fool if there was nothing that says this is true for the whole country. Thanks. :D

Right?

Their website says nothing of it.

There are conflicting posts on their facebook fan page.

I'd rather just donate to the fund.

From everything I see, the PJs in that area of Washington are donating all their profits. At all the other ones at the country you can make a donation, but they are not donating all their profits.

Can someone check out their facebook or twitter page to check? I can't get on those sites at work.

Not trying to be a downer, but I think the info posted isn't correct.

yep I wasn't able to confirm it yet either, can't go for a company wide order if it can't be confirmed.

OK, im getting that it might be west coast only, but doesn't a co. that does something like this vs a co. that doesn't deserve your business?

:lol

Read my first post honey....I don't want to LIE to people and tell them that stuffing their faces with PJ's pizza all over the country will help those families.

It's all about CORRECT info, which I know isn't a big concern of yours. We are going to order their pizza tonight and make a donation while we are there picking it up.

How come you would support a company that supports something you believe in?

You need to ask a question like that?

Again, it's about just verifying the information before running around reposting it. If it's "Papa Johns is donating money from their profits in Washington to the fund" - which is enough for me to want to buy from them, or "Papa Johns is donating ALL their profits to the fund" which is an even BETTER reason.

Either way, it's just about knowing which it is before reposting anything anywhere. And, no one can confirm  That's all.

It isn't about NOT supporting them.
