What is on your Christmas wish list this year?
How about your kid's wish list?

I told my husband I wanted a new lunch bag and a bookmark.
<----nerd
I'm sure as soon as Christmas rolls around I'll think of a thousand things I should have asked for.

My family finally decide that trading gifts that we don't really want is a waste of time, so we're only buying for the kids.
With what I save, I'm gifting myself with a new camera :)

Although I don't like asking for anything, my mother throws a hissy and requires a "list" every year. She surprises me with cool things too....but I always try and ask for practical things.
This year:
- new M.A.C. brush set
- space heater
- ice brush
Ummm....that's about it. :idk:

Honestly, nothing.
I'd LIKE some really kickass new skates, and maybe some goodies for the WRX, but we're not really "doing" Christmas this year, so I'm not expecting either.

What's on my Christmas list I won't get for about 6 more months.
It's hard for me to even ask for anything. Most of what I want is more expensive than I'm going to ask somebody for, so I just end up buying it myself anyway.

I want a freakin' day off. No running from place-to-place, no taking care of some random crisis... just to be able to sit home and not hear a phone ring or anything.
Unfortunately, that's a pipe dream.

I want this:

So we're having sex the whole day. It's the only thing that's free. :bonk:

I'd like world peace and to feed all the hungry. Psh
And then back to reality, I'd LIKE to get myself out of debt because I'd love to be able to buy something special for a certain someone. For myself, just for all my packages and parcels to arrive to the right(my) house. For me Christmas is about giving to others I care about, if there's something I want, I just buy it despite time of year.

I want a car starter. I am tired of going out and freezing my ass of in a cold car or having to run out to start it and then go back out 10 minutes later to get in.
I hate winter.

Junk punch. You can never have enough cameras! I've got a sony P&S thats crappin out on me, and a great Canon DSLR but as much hiking and outdoor stuff as we do, I want something lightweight, as clumsy as I am I need something sturdy and with the cruise and other trips we plan on, waterproof is perfect!

No kidding. At this point people wouldn't likely recognize me if I wasn't carrying a camera. I just gave one of my (3) DSLRs to my sister and bought this:

Looked at that, would be viable option if the Sony I have wasnt 5 years old and crapping out on me, getting the DS10 saves me the trouble of getting a new camera AND a waterproof case. I dont trust one with my nicer camera and its not as portable.

I already have what I want - Sidi Vortice boots, a new TV, and a new lens for my Nikon D80. For my family, we buy gifts for the kids only [thank god]. And, I have NO idea what to get for my sister's kids - 13-year-old girl and 10-year-old boy... homeschooled, freak-me-out type kids.

Not much bigger than a compact and uses interchangeable lenses like a DSLR. Pretty much my perfect walk-around camera. I'll likely pick up the manual lens adaptor and a few old OM-mount manual lenses. for it.
As for the looks, "Welcome to 1966!"

Well unfortunately I already know what my big gift is from my wife. I found out by accident but she is getting me a blu ray player. My in-laws already gave us there gift while they were in town. So the only things I'm waiting on are presents from my kids and my parents.

I think they are better than my Kodak, and not as good as my D80. I know, that's not a good answer for you. But, it cost so little (comparatively) and is a point and shoot. It even goes under water, and can take a HIT. The pictures are only as good as the settings set before you take the picture.
