Looking at the dealer price on these and my jaw about jumped off. Doesn't need to be in mind condition or anything, after all it is just a seat.

Hoping someone here might have a line on one. :twfix:

Look around on ebay for one. I did a quick search and there are some that arent too bad of a price.

Thanks I did that search earlier and found most of them ending in the 100 bucks area. At that price I will probably just end up going to a dealership for 20 bucks more.

Maybe there is an off chance that someone here knows of a wreck Gixx or someone with a unused seat laying around. :)

Member of gsxr.com and gixxer.com although I don't ever visit them. Thats probably where I will hunt later tonight, thanks.

The rare and occasional ride with a chica. I will keep the cowl 95% of the time, but it would be nice to have the foot pegs and seat when I need them.

Goob, no convincing necessary. At this point, with my size, theres no way I can carry anyone more than 100lbs or so, and since I dont run into many people my size I would WANT to carry, what need for a seat?! :whistle:
