I got new Driven Grips for my bike. I know the white will get dirty fast but I think that it looks cool.

Yeah, they aren't for everyone for sure! As far as bling factor goes, shoot bro, you can get these in like 30 different color configurations. The only less "blingey" would be black/black.

Whats the point of all that other bling stuff that is $40 better than a regular piece of molded rubber tube?

Not sure I'd rock the hard part around the thumb n index finger. What do you do if caught in the wet? Is the rest of the grip plastic, knurled metal or rubber?

Looks good. I was gonna ask what Ty did. Is the white rubber or metal or something else?

They do look good, but I want to know if the black part is aluminum?(could be cold in spring/fall riding)

They make your chrome plated chain look less gay.

?Black part is aluminum and the white is a special rubber compound.

Again, other than looking good is here anything special about them that the aluminum rings do?

Hey I posted the site.... Okay lazy, they are designed to relieve hand stress and prevent arm pump. I've only put about 50 miles on them so far but I'm taking them out today for a long rideand I'll let you know. I had Oury grips on there before so they have a tough act to follow, imho.

I thought Oury was for bycicles? In any case they are confy as hell, I had a pair on my last BMX bike

Nope they make MC grips, I've been using them for years....cheap too, about $9 a set.

I like 'em.

I've had 2 sets of grips on my bike and I've hated both of them. I originally changed them because one side got pulled up in transport (canyon dancer issue).

The set I have on now is just a bit too short and there are gaps.....it drives me mental every single time I look at 'em.

Looking good Tig!

Love the look of those.

How do I know I won't have the same problem as I've had with other grips (space left)? :idk:

Space? Well, on the throttle side you obviously want there to be a gap so your throttle can return smoothly. The thing is you can slide your housing in and out to adjust how much bar sticks out of the end...

http://i289.photobucket.com/albums/ll220/lontigger/Photo0311.jpg

Under the engine stop switch, there are phillips head screws that causes the housing to clamp down on the bar. All you need to do is loosen one of them enough to slide the housing where ever you need it to be.

Here's a breakdown,

Hope this helps!
