Hmmm....a Time Poll meaning a majority of liberals voted in it. Therefore, since Bush was in office it must have sucked ass...and it does according to some of the names posted.
Honestly, the last 10 years were the best for me, but I'm sure when the dollar fails (no thanks to the current admin.) in upcoming years, we'll be fucked.

When will both sides of the political arguement realize that the country you live in is the way it is because of all political descisions made since 1776?
The economy did not take a shit the day Obama took power. As I recall, it was on a downward slide when GWB was prez. Hell GWB was the one that started the bailouts.

Well, he did say "no thanks to the current admin." (which, of course, means it's not the current administration's fault).
I suspected that was just 101's language skills limitations, but I was willing to let it slide, because he was actually making sense...although probably only by accident.

No...it went to shit when we went off the Gold Standard. Money has been turned into made up numbers as long as you maintain a reserve ratio. Why save shit when down the road it is worthless?
All in the name of trying to give everything to everyone.

Money is not controlled by the US government. It is controlled by the treasury department, which is a separate entity owned by foriegn banks. Blame Obama for that one.

No thanks indicates not giving credit moreso than blaming. This admin is not helping our dollar value, but rather making it worse. The Obama admin is def. not the only one to blame.

Ya know what I find amusing...
So many people were pro-obamy during the election. How he is our saviuor and blah blah blah.
Now look at his approval rating. People are flipping over on him faster than pancakes at waffle house.
It was never more apparant then when wonda sykes was on Conan. Right after Obamy gave himself a A- or B+ (CRS). She was one of his big election campaigners. But she gave him a C-.
I just find it amusing. I can... cause I didn't vote for him.
I just sit back and laugh. People far forget that, most things in the economy lag a president behind. So we may not know how bad things got screwed up with the Fed being involved in big biz for many years. That being said, the president alone can't fix shit! So maybe we're all screwed.
Vote out your represenative and congressmen. They aren't helping!

Geez, man. Creative, aren't we? His approval ratings are down only 12 pts., and I dare say largely because of the political hit job on him from the right.
Shall we look at Bush's approval ratings?

I think he is referencing the "Fed", in which case, he'd still be wrong.
Avatard
12-30-2009, 12:22 PM
Nope:
Who really owns the FED? The Rothschilds of London and Berlin; Lazard Brothers of Paris; Israel Moses Seif of Italy; Kuhn, Loeb and Warburg of Germany; and the Lehman Brothers, Goldman, Sachs and the Rockefeller families of New York.
The FED is the only for-profit corporation in America that is exempt from both federal and state taxes. The FED takes in about one trillion dollars per year tax free! The banking families listed above get all that money. Forty cents in every dollar of US taxes.
The Supreme Court has ruled that the Federal Reserve is independent of the government and privately owned.
The Federal Reserve is owned by its member banks. The next question is, who owns the member banks? That is a complicated question because of the holding companies, etc.
It is historic fact that the plan for the Federal Reserve was created by banking interests in great secrecy at Jekyl Island in 1910. J.P. Morgan and Paul Warburg were the primary architects. Political impetus for this action came from the Money Panic 1907.
Those member banks of the Federal Reserve are now using the funds from the bailout to buy out privately owned banks. This is in violation of the act (or law) that congress passed to allocate those funds. It is also a conflict of interest that Treasury Secretary Paulson comes from the same financial cabal that runs those member banks and the Federal Reserve.
Since the operations of the Federal Reserve are secret, have no active congressional oversight, and are not audited by the GAO or the IRS, there is no way to protect the economic interests of the American People.

That's funny.
According to your link, NOBODY owns the Fed.
The Federal Reserve is chartered by the US Government. Nobody owns the the Federal Reserve. The Congress at any time can revoke the charter of the Fed. All the funding of the operations of the Federal Reserve comes from the US Treasury.
I know the words you posted were also contianed in that link but you had to do some slicing and dicing to get there.
Very FoxNews-like of you.
101 would be proud. :dthumb:

Well, it would appear that you too are being selective.
Subtle words games like "Charter Members" are at play here.
The bankers I listed are in fact those on the Fed (mostly International), and the Fed is in fact a private bank entity, operating outside of the jurisdiction of the US Government.
Of course, any "member" might get their "charter" revoked, but I think even you know the likelihood of that.

And being a charter member means they rake in all the profits? Somehow I'm not seeing the connection. Is this another one of those Illuminati conspiracies?
And wiki.answers.com? Never heard of them. What you copy/pasted would never pass muster on Wikipedia, because the statements are too opinionated rather than sticking to the facts.

Well, then do some more Googling on your own, and report back what you find.
The fact is that the US government shrouds the Fed in secrecy. I don't believe you will find explicit references to accepted legal documents disclosing this info.

Could be. But, what is the significance of the charter members? Are people trying to say that these people get together in some secret clubroom to plot the course of world events?

Jes, Jew got it meng. The Fed was in fact FORMED at a SECRET OFFSHORE MEETING of UNDISCLOSED BANKERS. "World Leaders" are just figureheads. Bankers run the show, ultimately.

So, bankers are holding a gun to Obama's head, telling him what to do?
Are they the ones who told Bush to invade Iraq?
Are they the ones who shot JFK?

Indirectly, yes.........And even then, it's not always deliberate.
People with power cause plenty of things to happen......But maybe as an unintentional result of a business decision they made.
