Lots of people from the local forum in the top level for this track day... including some you all should know, like Chappy and DLIT. I got an hour and 25 minutes of video, from my bike, as well as another friends' bike, since my transmission was pissing me off in the afternoon. At about 15 minutes in, you can see Jason lowside in turn 3.

Here's another vid from a friend of mine, following the 2nd guy who was filming in the first vid.

And I'm uploading one from Chappy right now, so I'll post that up later.

i was just thinking the same thing. how the hell do they keep all the debris off the track when the wind picks up? i thought i saw dust come up off the tires at least a couple times.

Lowside is at 15:24 if anyone's interested... Hope dude's ok, cause if he is, it looked pretty funny.

how was it funny? every lowside looks the same.

Bike folds over, rider goes on back in turtle position.

It was just how the video caught it... Like 'oops, hi! bye!'...

The track was super-dusty in the morning due to the high winds we've had recently. I started filming in the 3rd session, so the track was much better by that point, but still dusty if you went off the line.

And Jason was fine from that lowside. Bike was still rideable, just scratched up. He was trying to catch Mark on the slowest section of the track, where it's difficult to make up time, ran wide, hit some dust, and went for a slide.

He also trail-braked until about midway through that turn. For a big 250-260lbs guy, he can haul ass. Even though I put a faster time in than him that day, he passed me once and I simply couldn't catch back up to him. But that video shows me where I can improve.

I told him about it.

Zort catches up to me around the 30 minute mark. I'm the one with the Kagayama. I got a lot to work on.

Great videos as usual Zort. It seems like your tranny/clutch is a little sluggish sometimes. Or do you have a slipper clutch?

My transmission was having issues. It was at the shop this week getting some new pieces... hopefully it'll work next weekend at the Buttonwillow race, otherwise I gotta pull the whole motor apart.

Zort's bike is a huge piece of shit. I think everybody I know that owns a Kawi has false-neutral issues with their tranny.

The irony of that is the Kawi system that helps you find neutral so easy is called the positive neutral system... A little too positive.

Hahahaha. Maybe they shoulda spent more time on engineering a proper tranny, rather than having a technology to find the least used "gear".
