Can't seem to copy/paste any of the article, but basically Roger Edmondson is out January 1, 2010, citing health reasons.

I think roadracing is ripe for some MIC sponsored series or maybe WERA/CCS could run 8-10 nationals as double points weekends for its club race series?

Supposedly he's been fighting cancer, but the release didn't say that.

Yeah, I heard that too. Also heard his buddy Colin Fraser (that supposedly wrecked the Canadian series) is out for other reasons.

Haven't heard that one yet. Given how efficient the rumour mill is up here, I would have thought that I'd have heard that by now.

*EDIT* I was talking to Frank Wood the announcer, this past weekend, and he's definitely out of a job down south this season. I guess he'll either be coming back here to announce for the Canadian national series, or will be slumming at the regions. I know it's a step down for him, but it'll be good to have him back on the mic here.
