Everyone has their own tone. I REALLY REALLY like knowing who is calling before I go near my phone.

For instance:

SO- How You Remind Me
BF- Margaritaville
BF's boyfriend - Kung Foo Fighting
Mom - some comedian saying "Hey,your Mamma's calling..."
Another friend - Rockstar

And so on and so forth...

I change phones about every other week, and I leave them all on vibrate.Everyone has their own tone. I REALLY REALLY like knowing who is calling before I go near my phone.

For instance:

SO- How You Remind Me
BF- MargaritavilleI'm embarrassed to say how many times I had to read that before I figured out you didn't have one ringtone for your significant other and one for your boyfriend.

I've only changed mine once since I got this phone because I discovered how to make a ringtone out of songs on my computer. :D I have a techo version of Cotton Eyed Joe.

But for the two people that call me the most I have ringtones just for them.

Husband - Concrete and Clay by Unit4+2
Mom - Stewie saying mom like a thousand times

Werd to the werd.

My alarm is Vincent Price laughing from The Thriller. That's annoying. ONSSP's alarm is the part in Dumb and Dumber... "Wanna hear the most annoying sound in the world...." and then then sound.

I do have some ringtones, but at this point I don't even remember what all I have... I think I have some Monty Python and I'm sure I have some metal songs...

www.phonezoo.com FTW Lets you upload a song, then select a 20 second (or less) section of the song to be your ringtone. Free.

I rarely change mine, though. However, I should find songs that fit different people and set ringtones for each one. Hmmm, who will get the scarecrow from Wizard of Oz singing, "If I only had a brain?"

Tmall

Blackberrys let you upload mp3 and use em as ringtones.

I don't change too often, but I do like to set up individual ringtones for folks that call me the most. I need to make some new ones, and forgot about phonezoo, thanks :D

Who does that? Oh wait, my ex does - he tries to be cool.

Whatever my phone came with is what I use - except for when he calls. Then it's a dog barking.

I have a clip from the song "Brown Eyed Girl" and another clip from a song called "Coffee Shop" for Carolina that I swap between.

Everyone else gets the generic ring tone.

what I don't get is, why does it seem like everyone sets their ringtone to max volume? does everyone within 100 feet need to hear it?

To make sure that you know how popular they are.

Got new iphones so set up new ring tones then. My sister's ring tone is a dog barking since she's so in love with her dog.. I want to make a few on the lap top and set them up for different people.

My sister's old ringtone was the "Shut up bitch" skit by Katt Williams. She thought it was hilarious, my mom didn't.

To make sure that you know how popular they are.

it's either that, or they are proud of their musical taste and want everyone to know about it. like "yeah P-diddy is my man" or "lady ga-ga is my grrrl"......even if it's just mainstream shit.

To make sure that you know how popular they are.

Bingo!

People, you need to get over yourselves. It's a goddamn telephone, not a cool-o-rometer.

I'm sitting in a bar the other day, and some pisstards phone starts bleeping out, "Who let the dogs out". I shit you not. Fucking assbag is wearing red corduroy pants. He announces to his friends, that he has to "take this", because it's his broker. Broker my fucking ass. I saw you pull up in a clapped out Jetta, with a duct taped rear window. It's your mom, and she's kicking your slacker ass out of the cabana. Broker. Fuck you. Dickhead.

A bit later, the dude hits his girlfriend up for a ten spot, cause he's a little short on cash.

The sad part is, she gave it to him.

So I can hear it! When its in my purse, or in my pocket, underneath my pillow, on the floor, in the kitchen, bathroom, car etc. Of course when its on vibrate or the ringer is off, I'm screwed.

I need a remote key finder and one of the receptors is going on the phone.

The phone is always in a holster on my belt (cause I'm ever so cool and need to be reached at a moments notice...). And the volume is on 3 or below. If I'm in a public place (movie theater, restaurant, shopping, etc) then the phone is on vibrate. I TRY to be thoughtful but then how would you know how very important and cool I really am if YOU can't hear MY phone ringing?

:lol

My ringtone doesn't change, and when I get a new phone I use the same one.
It is me screaming into the mic.

It is not loud, but people always laugh the first time they hear it.

i change on occasion, right now im using the irAqi phone bomber one that was passed all over a few months ago. TL's is the theatrical trailer for the cinematic masterpeice (sarcasm) ebony, ivory, and jade. Text message is vegeta from dbz yelling its over 9000! Pics is the longer version with napa answering and a censoring beep added for extra comedy. Texts used to be the yut-ugh guy.

Never. I usually have my phone of vibrate and If I'm not carrying my phone it means I don't want to be disturbed.

Rarely. I really hate when my phone rings in public. I guess I'm one of the few people who still consider others. But when it does ring my personal phone is the intro of the Rolling Stone's Gimme Shelter. And my work phone is the Legend of Zelda theme.

Yeah, I work (for the near future) for a cell phone design company, so I'm always switching to the latest and greatest prototype. The phone I'm carrying now won't be for sale in the US for another 12 months. :)

Negative. All we know for now is sometime in Q1 we'll be told what our last day will be. Please remain seated, hold on to the bar, and enjoy the ride.

There have been a couple job fairs locally but for the mostpart that seem to be resume collection activities.

I don't have ringtones for specific people but I've used a few general ringtones in the past such as...

Sopranos theme song..."Woke Up This Morning"

"Enter Sandman"/Metallica

Theme for Monday night football.

I recently switched phones and just have it on vibrate.
