Apparently Sony feels the need to reboot Spiderman after Rami left. Why the fuck are they rebooting everything? Why can't someone just realize that following batman into adding as many bad guys in a film is just a dumb move, 1 bad guy is fine, 2 is enough if one of them is a minor bad guy, I can't get into any more than that. Spiderman 3 could have been a really good movie if they left out the whole sandman thing. Yep another series ruined by studio intervention.

can it be worse than the previous attempts? Really, they are horrid. Worst superhero movies of the current ones, besides hulk!

If SM3 wasn't horrible then I'd hate to see what you think is horrible. LOL

He whines like a bitch, more of a pussy than the cartoon character, more of a pussy around MJ than the cartoon, emo is not cool, should have had Lizard, venom, and carnage in this one, not the best of James Franco, should have shown the real way venom came to earth, no MJ nips.

Tobey Maguire doesnt bother me being spidey. It's they made him act like a nerd times 3.

No but the whole story could have done without sandman and focused more on the parker/brock and spidey/venom relationships, it just went too quick and you never saw how much the suit really hated spiderman and how much brock hated parker.

My guess is that the studio tried to tell the director and writers what they wanted to see in the movie. An extra bad guy means extra toys, costumes, and all the other merchandising that goes along with that

1 was great? I'd hardly give it that high of praise. Decent.

Well done? Sure.

Great? No, its a bunch of crap they made up at the last minute when they had 50+ years of story to work with. They should have gone to the start, his powers, gwen stacy, where the problems with him and Norman Osbourne began, Osbournes decent into lunacy...

Instead they made it a lovestory... And didnt follow ANY actual storyline.

Who cares about venom or carnage. Theres a shit ton more than that to spiderman that is much more interesting.

Actually, Sandman was a very well-casted and played character with a lot of emotional depth. Venom was lame in comparison......not much thought went into its creation, making him primitive and childish.

I hate how they blatantly threw Gwen Stacey in randomly into #3 to shut up the comic fans still bitching about her not being in the first movie and dying.

Spider-Man has pissed me off since the beginning. That shit is garbage. Topher Grace would have been a better Peter Parker than Toby McGuire, but then again, so would have been someone with Down's Syndrome, which is pretty much what we got. The Venom story arc should have been it's own movie, period. Venom is one of the most iconic villians in Marvel comics, and the biggest one in Spider-Man for the last 15 years. Has the fucking Sandman had his own series? Dr Octopus? The Green Goblin? No, and fuck 'em, Venom's had multiple books, limited series and one-shots of his own.

And I'm sick of the way they're doing the villians. Oh, God, a Spider-Man movie. Bet we see the Goblin, Doc Ock, and someone from the Sinister Six. Oh shit...! They did the same with X-men and it made me fucking furious. Can we see the goddamn X-men without Magneto's crusty, old ass, for once? There are so many awesome villians from that title, and yet, none of them will show up. What about Apocalypse (animatronic/CGI with James Earl Jones as the voice = awesome!!!), or maybe Mr. Sinister, or even Mojo?! Magneto is played out bullshit. I bet you the Thor movie is all about Loki, the Capt. America movie has the Red Skull, and if they make another Fantastic Four abomination it'll have Dr Doom AGAIN and maybe Mole Man. Show some fucking originality.

the green goblin has always been the most important of spidey's adversaries. While I agree venom is cool, he doesnt have half the history those two have.

Done?

These movies were not made for comic book nerds.
They were made to get the general public into the theater to make money.
Some of the internet fanbois on the internet would not be happy unless they did every comic in sequence without changing a thing. I guarantee, the general public would hate them after the 2nd movie, and never return. This way, they make more movies and money.

BTW, I never read comic books, but I do appreciate a well done movie, and I would say only about 30% of comic book movies are any good.

Whatever man, you take one of the biggest comic book hero's in the world, and you make a movie about him... Who do you want to make that movie for? His fans. Millions and millions of spiderman fans.

Nobody said they should have done the series book by book, thats ridiculous. But there are tons of Amazing Spiderman series that are not only exciting, but have great stories. That would have made the movies feel like more than hollywood flash with popular characters thrown in for marketings sake.

Hell, If you ask me, they should have done the 'Secret Wars' story and then continued it with spidermans return to earth with the symbiote. Eddie Brock getting the symbiote. Then continued into a Venom series. (preferable Dark Origins)

the superman of the last 15 years has been especially awesome as far as comics go. The movie was ok, but felt horribly long at the end. Hell, even the new batman game is amazing. Comic games are usually painful.

Batman Begins was very good. The Dark Knight was fantastic. All better than any marvel attempt(and im a Marvel Comics fan).

But, as Tmall said, the Joker stole the show. It has nothing to do with him being alive or dead, he;s just the best incarnation of the Joker ever. The whole idea of the Joker is that he constantly reinvents himself. Leaving a blank slate that actors have never used until this movie.

Honestly, as soon as you used to hear his name, it was 'oh, the fag from brokeback mountain'.... Now its not even mentioned. He died, the Joker. Pretty impressive, cuz normally you can build bridges all your life, but you suck one cock, and no-one remembers you as the bridgebuilder anymore

I must have seen a different "Batman Begins" cause 1. The shitty grunt voice is children stupid. He's got more money than god and he can't change his voice. Plus why should he. I've never seen an episode of the cartoon or the old batmans and his voice changed. It's a movie fuck tard. Everything doesnt have to be "real."

2. Katie Holmes is not an actress. "But she's hot!" No. She's cute not hot. Hot isn't a skill. If there's hot actresses in a movie that's fine. Just don't have them open their mouths.

3. Shitty CGI. Why even use it if you're not going to do a good job on it.

4. Every fucking comic movie doesnt have to start FROM THE BEGINNING. Wow, it took me 2 minutes to google batman and read up on how it all began.

5. Scare Crow making dope to "ruin" the world. Really. Didnt see that coming. Why not the Riddler (Well, a good Riddler) or Clayface or hell even the Mad Hatter? Mr Freeze would have been a good enemy if they hadn't used a director from "I was dropped as a child" pack.

6. Love story. Take that shit out. He's a night time gang banger fucker upper and they concentrate on whether or not he's gonna get to poke his bat stick in her hollow cave.

What I'm worried about is the fact that they're thinking of making a Deadpool movie. They already fucked that character up in the Wolverine origin movie. Deadpool has always been one of my favorite Marvel titles, and they wrecked him for a crappy Hugh Jackman vehicle. Maybe if he has his own title they'll get it right, but I'm not counting on it.

Yeah, every other Batman movie just picks it right up and goes. Well, the first one with Keaton explains some shit...but to no real extent.
