Is there anyone on here that is good with computers? I downloaded a new virus protection program (just a trial version) and restarted my computer and everything and now all that shows up is my background picture. The task bar at the bottom and all the icons dont show up. Im hopin someone has a way to fix this. I already tried hitting F* on start up and using "last good configuration" and wanted to try a system restore but I cant even get to a screen to do one.

do ctrl alt delete. this should get u to the task manager window. click on file, then new task/ run. type in explorer and hit enter. might help... :idk:
if "explorer" doesnt work try "explorer.exe"

yea, for some reason your explorer.exe is not running properly.

Just tried that and it said that explorer and explorer.exe werent found?

run msconfig and be sure that it is initializing on startup.

I managed to find a way to get to the system restore through the msconfig and it worked perfectly and put shit back to normal. Thanks guys for helping the computer illiterate.:cheers:

Im on it. I actually have a dude I work with that was just looking at a 2000 Honda CBR w/ 16k on it for like 4 grand I think and he decided not to buy it so I may be able to check on it for you if youre interested.

no I meant the price... I got my 05 in 06 with 618miles for 4999 out the door WITH my helmet... and that was from a dealer... granted it was in January... but :idk:

He also said the guy was willing to go 3800 so you may be able to get it for 35-38.

Very true. Plus FI would be nice. Hopefully that dude with the 675 is stupid enough to let it go for 6k and you can just road trip to go get that.

Yeah, hed be losing a ton over what he bought it for but you can always dream. Did you make it out to rick roush tonight?

yea, whole lotta nothing. also stopped at the state 8 on rt 18. saw an f4i w/ the banana seat, but nothing really extraordinary.

roushe did have a repsol replica that looked like it had been down before. cleaned up all the rash cept for the engine cover and bar end. i should call em about that tomorrow, may be able to get a knock down considering the blemishes.

ahh good point. I've got tons of time... as my post count shows... so let me know what your preferences are (year... price... mileage... bike type... ect) and I'll browse around on the www and shoot ya links to what I find...

A repsol would be badass. Most of the people Ive dealt with at RR were real cool and helpful so they may be willing to make a decent deal on it.
