Who do we think will win the next game?
I bet the ravens will shock and awe the colts I predict atleast a better game then the cards game

marko138

Normally I'd root for the Colts, but I'm against them after the Jets stunt a few weeks back. But I hate the Ravens so I'm hoping for a double loss.

Cards defense has been bad all season and in this game..not to mention 3 or 4 good players were injured. The opening TD in the first 20s was the highlight of their game.

marko138

The Ravens suck. I knew they didn't have the stones to hang. This Chargers/Jets game will probly be a blow out too.

At this point I'm hoping for a Saints v Colts Super Bowl with the Aints winning. Those two teams seem pretty evenly matched on offense and defense.

I think they've got a good enough team to get it done this year. I like Drew Brees. He's a good dude and deserves to win. And Colston is from Harrisburg.

I slept like a baby last night after seeing the Ravens epic fail. Nothing but a bunch of douche bags in purple.

I hate Phil Rivers and the Chargers, but not as much as I hate that fat lard Rex Ryan. He's a big part of the reason that the Ravens are such turds. The pork loin doesn't fall far from the hog in that family.

I'm pulling for the Aints the rest of the way. They definitely deserve some love after years of sucking.

The NFL is becoming the league of pussies. All the bullshit penalties to protect everyone. Fuck 'em. Let 'em play. Holy shit.

6doublefive321
01-17-2010, 03:52 PM
Speaking of pussies, Tony Romo is a gutless, pussified, trave-sham-mockery of an NFL QB. I don't know why the Cowboys keep paying this guy, but I'm glad they do.

marko138
01-17-2010, 03:58 PM
I just don't get that guy. Some days he's incredible and then there are days like today with a ton of turnovers. He's so inconsistent.

This game has turned to comedy. 4th and 3 and Favre is going end zone.

And I'm for this kinda behavior. Run the score up. These are pros. If they can't stop you than Ýou should show no mercy.

Yup, I liked that last Favre TD too. You don't ever give up in a playoff game and the Cowboys did in the 3rd quarter. Brooking trying to say something to Favre was weak shit too...you can't be pissed cause he took your defense to school all day.

I was really sick of Favre's bullshit the last few seasons...but holy shit. This guy, at 40 y.o., has had maybe the best season of his career. He's still doing his gun slinging gimmick, but has drastically cut back on the INT's. Impressive.

Now, that running back of theirs hasn't had a great 2nd half of the season.

The NFC Champ game SHOULD be a great game. Go Saints.

As for the AFC...:wtf: The Jets aren't supposed to win. :idk: I couldn't believe it when I saw the headline on ESPN.com. Holy fuck. But I've gotta root for them against the Colts. Hate them both.

Anyone think norv turner will get fired this year, seems like hes becomming the decades marty schottenhimer, good coach but cant win the big one.

I still cant figure out the jets, the only reason they made the playoffs is because 2 teams rolled over and died but now are 60 min away from the super bowl. So Are they the real deal or is it just that SD had their usual late season choke?

I guess I'm the only one on this board pulling for the Colts. Must have something to do with living in Indiana. I'm pissed about the way they ended the regular season and think it was complete BS, but I'm still hoping they win the SB. We should make short work of the Jets, but NO will give us problems if they make it to the SB as well. Then again, I thought the Ravens would give us problems and look how wrong I was there.

I ma pulling for indy as well, if nothing else to beat the jets.

Sort of goes along with tom jacksons ramblings how htey want big names in the super bowl and they woul dmuch rather manning be there then the jets and having to listen to rex ryan shoot his mouth off for another 2 weeks. I think they will be happy with either NFC team because theres plenty th epress can drone on about for 2 weeks weather its the brett favre story or drew brees andhow NO deserves it after the hurricaine and all.

Come on, you know SD chokes every year. Plus Rivers is always shooting his motu how he was the best QB of his draft class, yet the other 2 have 3 rings and he has none.

I believe youre right, eli was drafted and said he wouldnt sign with SD and he wanted to go to the giants.

Funny part of that draft was I thought the raiders had the most solid pick in Gallery. Comparing him to another Tony Boselli and we see how that panned out :(

Been debating that with a freind at work, he thinks give him another year, i say cut your losses and start over. The raiders pick far enough down in the draft they can get good value with someone like bradford or clausen.

it helps that several of the teams in front of them are set at QB, and I think at least 6 of the top 10 prospects are defensive players.

But it doesnt matter since davis will fuck it up anyway.

Eli was drafted by SD, but he demanded a trade to the giants.

Could be more too since they would play each other more often. As it is now it sjust once every 4 yrs or the outside shot they both get to the super bowl.

True, but they would still be able to hype more games if they play each other more often, kind alike all the NE Indy games.

I think thats why this year they def dont want the jets in the SB, sure its a major market but no good story lines. Just a boring team with an obnoxious loudmoth coach. Theyre set with the NFC teams for good story lines and inserting peyton manning and the colts in there would make for great stories. Plus a hell of a lot of offense with indy playing either minnesota or NO.

Why not play up the storyline of Sanchez?
The rookie QB who stepped in after the all world, single bestest, greatest of all time, never be another one, Brett Favre retired (again).

Granted, he isn't the most talented QB out there, but this team is very similar to the Ravens team that won the SB with Dilfer a few years back. Very good run game, and a very good defense. All he has to do is not screw up - so far, so good.

*for the record, I think the Colts will get a lead early and win.

the jets atre more of a boring team though, very solid and efficient but the jets have no big personalities. At least the ravens had ray lewis. Plus since manning is the proverbial good guy I think they would rather see him there playing the vikings or the saints.

I say cut him loose. He has zero work ethic. Thats a problem. Another year isn't gonna cure that. If he doesn't wanna work and get any better than all the time in the world isn't gonna do anything for him.

And really...the Colts offense hasn't been all that great this year. They haven't laid a ton of points on people like they used to. I think regardless of who makes it...this is a NFC year for the Bowl.

maybe withthe right coach they could turn him around, but cable isnt the answer. Plus youre right russels crappy year wasnt his fault it was everyone elses.

They should cut him, draft a QB and let him sit behind gardkowski for a year or 2 ot develop. or if they can solidify the O-line let him play since they should have a decent running game.

Pulling for...

Colts

Saints

Vikings

Jets

...in that order.

I give the Jets credit for being the underdog but just not a fan.

I do like Manning and hope he wins another one.

Saints are due one so I wouldn't mind seeing them take it.

I'm not a Vikings fan and Farve totally pizzed me off when he was flip flopping around about retiring....BUT he has proven that he still has it so good for him.

The Jets don't deserve to be there. I really hate this "give up at the end of the season" mentality that allowed the Jets to get into the playoffs. Yea, they won their games fair and square after that, but teams playing their second stringers alters the work of the regular season.
