I was looking for a 4 pin to 4 pin 1394 firewire cable so I walked in the Best Buy and found a 6ft cable for $34.99. It hit me then that I remembered a few guys talking about the Monoprice place, so I said fuck it. I put the cable back on the shelf and went home. I looked up the cable on Monoprice and the cable was get this........$1.73. I ordered one and with 3-4 day ground shipping the total was $3.46.. for the same god damn cable. Fuck you Best Buy, I'm buying ALL of my wires at Monoprice from now on.

I've bought quite a few cables from them no problems...I'd watch out for their tv mounts though. A little too cheap for a $2,000 TV imho. I used one on my 32 Computer monitor though. I think it was like $20 or something...

I've had good luck with My Cable Mart... (http://www.mycablemart.com/) Monoprice looks cheaper, but the cables I've picked up from MCM were very good quality... Next time I'll buy from Monoprice to compare the quality.

Yeah, I always try to plan ahead... If I'm buying a new peice of equipment, I always buy the cables first online if I'm buying from a store... or at the same time if I'm buying online. MCM's turn around time is lightning fast. I think I got my last order within two days IIRC...

Did we? I musta missed it. All I know is the HDMI cables I bought from MCM were beefier than the one that came with my Xbox 360. I know that's not saying much, but when you buy two 6ft HDMI cables for $10 shipped, I was expecting less. Gold contacts, substantial casing at the connector, and beefier wire. Very happy with my purchase.

HDMI is digital, cables don't matter as long as the signal gets there. Unless you are running a very long line, you won't need super quality.

Additionally HDMI cables are built to specifications in both construction and performance. An HDMI 1.3 cable should do certain things, no matter where you buy it or what you pay.

I don't think it would. Have you ever checked out the rent for a commercial building? I'm willing to bet that Monoprice doesn't have a store front. How are the quialty of the cables? Cheap quailty cables drive me nuts.

My HDMI cables from them are much better quality than my xbox elite hdmi cable.
