People have a hard enough time on the ground with cars.

The Air Force tried similar designs (back in the 50's I think) and the big downfall is during landing you have no visual reference for where the ground is. That design looks like it would have a little better vision on landing but in flight if you're lying horizontal it gets hard to look forward then. Looks fun but still needs work I think.
