all in all, it was a good ride, alot of the roads were still a little damp, but for the most part it was a good ride, everyone stayed sunny side up and had no incidents

I think that was it unless i am missing one.

i saw 61 degrees on the way home, but it felt cooler with the moisture still in air and the strong winds that were heading it late ride.

Good ride for sure, i backed it down the last 10 miles or so. Katoom was running good today.

I really like hitting the road before the damn early in the day. I didn't plan on leading any today, but Mike waived me on and i knew no cars had went by for a while so the road was clear.

yeah but he rides a buell, so his hp benefit is canceled by the buell factor.

No shit it looks likes Marko's...And I havent exactly taken the time to bother looking at the front rotor of a Buell...It just stuck out in the one picture...

I realize they all use the same one I just didnt realize it was that big/thin

I would like to add the only thing I don't like about the buell is the front brakes, I am waiting on a set of pads that are supposed to fix it, but they are inconsistent and very prone to fading at a mildly brisk pace

I haven't had an issue, but I use engine braking a lot, even on the track. My instructor yelled at me
Good thing it's got a slipper clutch, cause I abused the shit out of it that day!

i tend to ride a gear higher on the buell and use the torque more then i did on the rc, so the engine braking isnt as noticeable on the buell

I'm still almost all stock so its sewing machine quite, I'm starting to enjoy it lol
That being said I'm looking at the barker exhaust when I get back from my cc trip.
Are you getting any pot marks on your front rotor?

yeah, there are some marks on the rotor, and a bit of surging. take a scrub pad to it and it's all better.
Which exhaust you looking at getting?

I ordered a set of lydell pads and they should take care of the surging and brake dust issue
I'm looking at a barker exhaust, looks more buell then the others in the price bracket below drummer, I really like the TH though

The dyno he has up shows a 17 hp gain over stock but I'm guessing that's with a tune

IIRC the drummer was close to that with nothing more than a pipe.
Granted, at over twice the cost.

Hey Will - It was good meeting & riding with you!
Also good to see you again, Eddie - really looking forward to tagging along with you in the woods sometime soon (just take it easy & don't laugh too much at me...)
I almost bailed when it looked overcast in the morning, but very glad we all got out & got in a good one.
Sucks you got all but cut out of this one, Drewpy:

I dig the new Buell, and it was obviously working real well for you - good form, BTW! And I though I had done some pretty good dealing on bikes - man, the rundown on your record so far made me jealous!

Here's my old RC I told you about - sweet bikes, even if not the most 'at home' on the street:

Yes - an extremely clean one with heavy motor mods, running 14psi boost. He claims 175hp at the wheel, which struck me as optimistic - but no question it's very fast and pristine!
