I'm sorry! Please forgive me for boasting about being able to ride year round virtually snow free. I know I pissed you off, we've had more snow this year and cold weather than I can remember, I have not been able to ride, I'm going insane, please accept my apology and remove the voodoo doll of me from your freezer PLEASE!:lol

Tell me about it! This has been our coldest winter in probably 10 yrs or more!!! I'm almost ready to move to FL but the roads suck!

I think I had to cancel the ride maybe 2 weekends within a one year period due to rain.

I have a limit...under 60F and I won't ride. LOL

We have had so much rain already this season. Much more than usual and it is suppose to start again tomorrow. :td: Luckily I got a nice ride in on Saturday. :beers: Gotta squeeze them in when we can! :beers:

Funny, its been the warmest January ever here.

hasn't been particularly warm but we've had less than half the snow fall we normally get.

I haven't even broken 500 miles on the sled yet.

Great write-up! Those pictures were fabulous.... brought up memories of riding with the ol' boyfriend on his '95 BMW Paris to Dakkar (I don't know the model number so I always went with that decsription, looks just like the one your friend has :lol: ) We would load that thing up for camping out in the woods in Kodiak, AK. I used a thick piece of foam for my seat and the sleeping bag wrapped around the back for an arm rest. It was so comfy I would fall asleep. Ah, those were the days...

Thanks for posting that and affording me that walk down memory lane. :lol:

At this point I'm looking at getting my bike out at the end of April; just in time for a few street rides and a trip to the Gap before it goes track.

Fuck that rodent. He's never been right...but the 3.5" we got last night, the 6+ we might get this weekend and the snow we might get Tuesday has him looking pretty smart this year.

One of our LT's made a comment. If that little fucker sees his shadow, it will mean 6 more months of deployment. Lets bomb the shit out of him before he has a chance!
