Seeing how the northeast is under a level 10 devil dust emergency, how many of you out there can actually ride right now if you wanted to, barring work or family, but if you felt the itch, the weather and roads are good enough to go for a spin....:skep:

I could ride right now BUT my clavicle hurts, the titanium plate would break thru my skin under the weight of my jacket and i would get more salt and sand on my bike than i need or want.

Techinally it's warm enough to ride here, but I am spoiled.... anything below 75 degrees + bike = me freezing.

Lately it's been 50's + 60's in the morning when I leave for work, no way I am riding by choice.:nee:

Still on my same riding schedule...about every 3 weeks, on Saturday. And the occasional ride to work. :beers:

Two weekends ago...

If I had electrics, sure. I don't do "being cold" though.

I was really sick like 3 weeks ago and hubby picked up my antibiotics on the bike. He got some really strange looks waiting in line with his helmet in hand  It was 39 degrees out when he left and around 36 when he got home!

Today its 25 out and we got about 6-8 inches of snow.

Very nice, mine is 2 wide but one deep, plenty of room for all my bikes though.

maybe... dunno though... depends on how things sort out in omaha with the bike (installing exhaust and jet kit)... so I may not have time, and have to slab it again... don't want to though...

Low 40's when I left today. Will be a nice high 60's by the time I leave. The damn near perfect afternoon rides make up for the slightly less than optimal mornings.

In a pinch, I'll get out for a quick spin as long as it's above freezing - but it ain't much fun once I can't feel my hands!

But @ 45~50°, and with the right gear - GAME ON!!! :rockwoot:

I was hoping to get out saturday for a while, but the forecast keeps dropping - may still have to do a quick loop just to shake-off the jonesing!

I told my hubby I wanted to ride my bike today (especially since he had to take my car) and I needed his help putting it back together...one of his coworkers is making me a custom bracket made for my NEW speedometer! :rockwoot:

He told me one of the bolts I HAVE TO HAVE to ride is at his work. :tt:

That is my current situation. :td:

I tried to beat the weather, but failed. A few days after a snowstorm, the streets are clear, but I can't ride. I live in an old neighborhood with a common alleyway down the middle of the block, and I live in the middle of the block. The alley is on a slope that faces north so it's iced up most of the time.

After the last snow I shoveled one tire track so I would be able to take a bike out of my garage. I thought I was pretty smart. Except the snow that melted ran down the shoveled tire track and froze each night. It was more icy in that tire track than the rest of the alley.

steal his bike.

I did threaten that. But actually I am afraid that if I ride his bike (with is a 97 750 versus my 92 600) I will want a faster bike.

I had the gf ride my 1125 once, and I have no worry of that.

first she was scared of the response vs her SV.
second, it was before the reflash, so it ran like shit below 3K
and finally, it wasn't comfortable.

so I have no worry of her stealing it. :D

I am at the point where I feel like I could be confident on a faster bike...but I love my bike so much that I do not want to chance it.

None of those options fit. No, it's not currently riding weather. Cold as a witch's titty in a brass bra, but not really much snow on the ground.

That's why pick "drewpy is a cunt"

I'm in the same boat, it's nice here, but I have no bike, and the drivers are freakin SCARY here!
At home, it was a bit chilly, and it was more the ice on the roads than the snow that bothered me.

It's finally warm when I'm going to be home from tour so the bike will be back out. Plus ordering new gear finally tomorrow also so I can ride more when it's not so warm!
