Very interesting machine, if you don't mind sharing what is the price point? I may have to ride over to our local Aprillia Stealership and have a look. Oh and I am sure my wife is going to thank you for posting that link

Good looking bike...but word round the campfire is Pril is having some issues with the new engines.

Why not a Hypermotard?

Why not a Hypermotard?

1100cc vs 750cc. It's an insurance thing. Oh and the Duc is a lot more money for not much more product. That 750 puts out pretty close to the same power as the HyperMotard

What are torque numbers?

What are torque numbers?

60 ft-lb at 4500 RPM. And yeah it's a little heavier than that hypermotard, but I like the idea of a water cooled engine.

Insurance can't be much for you. I'm paying under 5 bills for full coverage on a 1200 cc engine.

I pay $450/year full coverage on the 750 now. Clean record and Im 37yo. MI insurance sucks. Liberty Mutual goes strictly by cc's so a hypermotard would cost me a lot more to insure even though it doesn't have much more power.

I suggest you find a different insurance company.

Trust me I've called around. Nobody comes close to LM.

No shit. I called everyone when looking for Buell insurance. I spent a few more bucks and went with Geico for better coverage...next lowest for me was Sentry. LM wouldn't quote me cuz I didn't have a current policy.
