MAN that’s ugly!!
Will it let you transition off the bike in a corner? or will your ass be a permanent fixture?

I bought a second set of seats, when I plan on riding hard, I will use the stock seats. When I plan on riding all damn day or longer I will ride with these. They don't transition very well, but they are for touring.
The are the best seats on the market and I can easily sell them for what I paid for them because I got in a 20% off group buy.

The Russell's are the only seats my bony ass can tolerate for 1K days.
Yes, they're ugly as fuck, but my ass don't care.

I can see why now, these things are fuckin great.
For those that don't know, Russell's are Bill Mayer Saddles. The original Bill Mayer Saddles. They own the copyright to his original design and the other Mayers don't make the original ones that made them well known. So when people say get a Bill Mayer, these are the original Bill Mayer saddles.

Wonder if they make a set for the 1125R?

Truth be told, the Rick Meyers and Bill Mayers saddles, are both good. The two brothers got into a shit fest several years ago, over who should be in charge after the old man died.
All in all, I still prefer the original design for long distance, even though the seats Rick builds aren't quite as fugly.

Bill, (Rocky) will make whatever the hell you want, using your stock seat pan.

Will need to see if they are as comfy as my ultra's stock seat... I doubt it though.

They have gel inserts and a memory foam layer...

Well it's a different style of bike, I wouldn't expect it to be like a ultra or goldwing. However, it drastically improves the quality of seat of this style of bike.
Plus, it's a custom seat. It's shape is specifically for me and the way I sit on the bike. You have to give them a lot of info to get it made the way you want it to be.

I hear ya man. But isn't that an aspect that you're trying to reach? Setting it up to pound down slab miles? Mount a goldwinger seat on there!
Funny thing is... I just bought a less comfortable seat for my bike for around town.
I've had two russell day longs (FJR1300 and ZZR1200) THey were both huge improvements for long rides. Moving around on the seat during spirited rides is not much of an option though.
If you are tippy toed at traffic lights, these seats will not help your cause.

Yeah, but I also want this bike. I don't see taking a goldwing or ultra on a forest service road or doing some corner carving when I get at the end of that long ride.

So these will be the goldwing seat on the dirt bike setup??

it's about the best you can get for this type of bike. It's super nice, had a bunch of people sitting on my bike at the BMW dealership today wanting to get these saddles on their bike.
Only issue is if you are short, they make this bike even worse for you. I went from flat footing to on my tippy toes.

And i bet I cant get tippy toes on your stock seat.
I ordered a street glide seat for my ultra. Skinnier in back for a cleaner look but also thin in the front so hopefully I can get closer to flat foot. Instead of the "ballz" of my feet.
