I really don't want to know, but there has to be some pretty messed up shit going on behind Ebert's "turtleneck". I guess it beats being dead though.:shrug:

Man I didn't know. That sucks. I wish him well and hopefully he did beat the cancer bug. Of coarse not before it did some damage obviously. Being my passed father's bday will be next week, cancer I feel partically touched by anyone going thru all that.

I was wondering about his pic myself, saw it the other day and thought there was no way thats Ebert, its a woman...poor dude. Im interested to see how his gismo works that allows him to "speak".

I think he just types what he wants to say in to a computer and the computer speaks, but because they have at least hundreds of hours of his voice recorded they could create a computer "voice" that sounds like his old one.

yup. I was reading it thinking, 'ok, when does this get funny?', I thought it was some joke article. Then I started googling. Ouch, poor guy.
