Practice is under way at Daytona with a surprise turnout. 43 bikes took first practice for the Sportbike class and 24 Superbikes went around.
Reports are that it is very cold and windy so it really is too early to analyze the timesheets, but the show goes on...

Yes it's on Speed and I think it's at 8 or 8:30 (thereabouts) on Friday night.

Yeah but their all the balls we get man. It is racing and it doesnt involve roll cages or Danica Patrick! Melissa Paris timed in way down the sheets. Hope she can pick up some speed somewhere...

I'm leaving to go down there Fri or Sat and staying for Spring Break! Should be a good time! We're taking the bikes and even the dog. I'll send you all an e-card.

We expect a full report!! I am quite suprised at the turnout. Maybe after losing the top 5-6 guys at DMG the folks left will want to actually run a series and listen to their betters.

hey smileyman where did you see the time sheets? I poked around on ama's site but only found out that they still think roger hayden is in dsb :lol:. On a side note: bsb kicks off in 28 days and this year bmw, aprilia, and ktm are joining the fray :D

Well the Superbike class looks like a GSXR cup and Supersort looks like an R6 cup. The XR series is a one make series. We'll find out tonite if Daytona Sportbike is all they want it to be...

I cheer for Eslick and Westby cause they used to kick my ass. I raced Westby close when he was just learning but he surpassed me in about 2 years. Eslick was always supernatural...
