I finally decided to put illumiglo gauges on my 2006 Busa. There were several options, but I decided to go with the all green and red redline, and red for the needles. It took about 15 mins to get the instrument cluster free and another 15 mins to properly package it up for shipping. When I get it back (supposedly in a week) I will post pics of how it looks. The cost was $155. Here are pics of the mod on other bikes...

That doesn't show the needles being lit up, but this does...

Since my bike is custome painted green, with a green plastic frame around the instrument cluster, I thought green backlighting would be best.

Cool.

You don't hear about too many Busa owners going green.

Those looks good. I'd like to see them once they are installed on your bike.

I've thought about doing these before but to me that's just money that could be spent on track parts.

I wish there was a way to make the stock SV instrument panel look better (other than replacing it altogether).

I've always liked the SV's panel, it's simple

I like it but I'd like it to be a little more noticable at night.

Holy shit, there's a business opportunity right there. I think I found my next weekend project.

Yes, the rash from last May in Georgia has all been repaired and repainted. The illumiglo gauges just arrived and it took less than 15 mins to re-install them. I think they look great. The green matches the color of the bike perfectly. I have pics, but they're not the best because I took them in the garage as it's pouring rain today.
