Anyone else ever heard of this? It's called a Test the Track day. It is only for one afternoon. 2 classroom sessions and 2 riding sessions (with the Street/novice group) and a lunch for 30 dollars. Don't have to tape mirrors, lights, etc. Says your bike must be in decent shape, but doesn't have to have all of the technical stuff. This is something I might be able to afford this summer, and St.L is only an hour and a half away.

Trackaddix does a similar thing. You get the same track time as a normal track day, but you get classroom instruction as well.
All in all a good deal I'd say.

Yeah, hopefully I can do this later this summer, then next summer do full on track days. They only have like 3 a year close to me.

NESBA has a similar program. I thought about doing it to try out Barber without paying the god awful amount they expect you to pay for that track.

for 4 good sessions, it'd be worth the hour and a half and 30 bucks. sign up.

Sounds like a cheap way to get your feet wet.

I'm sure it will be just enough to get my addicted. Typically track days with them are 155 or 175 i think.

That is the one bad thing about track addix try the track, it's still full track prep on the bike, and it is actually more money, I'm guessing because of the instruction time.
:idk: probably still do it.

This one is 30 bucks, so can't hardly pass it up.

yeah I saw that and the nearest one is something like 2.5 hours. still might be worth it. for the trackday regulars, how much time do you usually get out there for 200 bucks? If I'm gonna do it i'd rather pay the extra money and get the full experience if I'm already going all the way over anyways.
