Sucked. Blew out my transmission friday morning on the first lap.
Drove home Friday night to get my bike to the shop ASAP. Other teammate called me at 11:30pm, said I could combine parts from a few bikes and have one ready to race, so did that. Loaded back up, headed all the way back Saturday morning, assembled the bike when I arrived in the afternoon. Sunday, rode the new bike in practice, but was just out of it. New bike, new track, no confidence, bad mental status, so I decided not to race. Just hung out, helped out in the pits, and watched. 1400 miles of driving and only 20 or so practice laps to my credit.
I wish I had my bike though, I think I could have been on the podium in most of my races.
Now I just hope my bike is repaired by this weekend, since I already paid for the two day track day at LVMS.
After watching your tank cam video, I'm not surprised your tranny blew. It sounded like shit. Kawi transmissions suck balls. Josh blew his a while back at SMMR, too. And I've never heard of so many false neutrals in my life.

I'm not surprised... I noticed that it sounded like shit last time you posted a couple vids.
 to you though for making the best with what you had. Adaptability is key...

I had heard rumors about this at the track, but didn't want to post anything until it was announced.
RIP to John-Mark Arechiga

Damn... RIP.
though I do have to say, it seems he went out doing what he loved... I hope in my death I'm as lucky.
My condolences to those who knew him.
