Anyone pick this up yet? Considering going to buy it today, scored a 9.5 out of 10 in Game Informer. Looks like it kicks serious ass.
I tried it. Its a bit arcadey. I like MAG better, but thats just my opinion...
I liked Bad Company 1, but it is very arcadey.

Finally started play multiplayer on PC like youre suppose to. I stayed up till 6:30am this morning. Im not a big fan of multi, but it is very pleasing to snipe a dude in the head a quarter mile away. ;-)

im about to go play some MW2... even though i think it sold out. FPS's are not meant to be played on consoles. The first MW was so much better.

I've played multi a little on MW2. I find it harder to snipe in BC2 cause you actually have to judge the distance.
im about to go play some MW2... even though i think it sold out. FPS's are not meant to be played on consoles. The first MW was so much better.
meh i found 2 far easier to play. academic though since ive gone back to killzone two and will only play mw2 when my clan is out in force

Both games are the same. Weapons are programmed by humans to do what they programmed them to do. Both have little "realism" to how bullets react to distance, wind, objects, etc etc.
I'm not trying to start some stupid flame war but to say the two are in two different categories is a silly willy statement.

no one said it was. one has way better graphics and gameplay. simple as that

meh like i said i didnt make it through a whole match in the demo. i got in a tank which was either broken or uncontrolable and then i shot someone with something that vaguely resembled an akm. might as well have been playing black on ps2

Ya, it makes you wanna keep playing but it sucks for people that join way late and theirs five thousand people with all the good weapons and you have a shitty Russian rifle. LOL I mean, I'm awesome so it doesnt bother me. I'm actually happy with my second unlocked sniper rifle (SV98).
I subscribed to SeaNanners on youtube. He's pretty funny.

i never said it was real. 90% of the time im the guy taking a flying leap off a three story roof with an smg blazing before i land and slam a knife in some pizza faced 13 year old's back and fuck off across the map at superhuman speed.
what i said was the little biscuit of gameplay that was handed out for free from bc2 tasted about as exciting as uncooked cardboard and looked about as appealing. tell EA to slop on some gravy next time eh?
im guessing they dont have a my level only option when looking for games? :wtfru:

I was going to get this, but a friend and I decided to get Read Dead instead. I loved 1942 though. 2142 would have been just as fun if I didn't jump in so late.. everyone was pwning me since I had shit weapons and armor.

I did get it on PS3, but I haven't started playing yet. Just came in the mail today, in fact. I'm gonna mess around in single player to learn the controls before jumping in on multi, but I'll add you later today.
