View Full Version : Your face is red!

When I get embarassed, hot, or work out my face goes red. Bright red.
I know. I'm aware.
So why in the hell do people feel the need to tell me?
Someone told me they saw me running twice last week and their first comment was "your face was bright red". Um...ya...so? :wtfru:
Surely I'm not the only person in the world who has this happen. Do they think I don't know about it?

Your face is red after posting that...
My does and so does my sons. I think it's inherited! It is funny to see the looks on peoples faces though. After a 5k people would actually stare! Make a face at them, that's what I do!! The other thing that cracks me up is when people point out when you're sweating like there's something wrong with you!

My face turns red when I lift and run. Nobody has ever said anything to me about it though. There are fucking wall to wall mirrors in the gym. I better hope I'd know if my face was red :lol

I thought it was the same reason PeopleOfWalmart.com is successful - the inherant want to feel superior to everyone around them.

:lmao: a guy I've known for a looooooooooong time came to visit this past summer on his 1kRR and his brother walked over and said "Dude, you have a light out." My friend leaned over, tapped the lense of the "out" side while (secretly) flicking the high beams on and said, "Say, thanks, you're right!"
We then laughed our asses off about it because that 2 times previously he'd pointed out to the same brother that only one light was supposed to be on when on low beams.

That and I have a very expressive face. So even when I am off in lala land not thinking or paying attention to anything, people will think I am reacting to something that was said. Annoys the piss outta me.

Oh ya me too. I wear my heart on my sleeve and it makes it hard because everyone always knows exactly what I'm thinking. :tremble:

What else makes your face red?
I would guess fair skin and elevated blood pressure from exerting oneself would cause a face to turn red.

Haha that's funny. I pretty much only have one expression, and I'm constantly told that I should lighten up or some shit along those lines. I'm very well aware I have a serious expression. I laugh when I feel something is funny. I get angry when I feel angry. 90% of the time I just don't care. You expect me to walk around with a smile stuck on my face? No.

They used to say that when I had the R6. I would say are you sure? Look again. They6 would bend down to look and I would hit the high beams. How does it look now. It never got old.

Sometimes I do this at work just to make them think...walk around with a smile on my face. Most times I'm just expressionless because I just don't give a shit.
